one year later

Serizawa hears a knock on his office's door.
-Come in Lieutenant Takashi.
An young black haired woman enters the office. Her body constitution is notably athletic and her expression is serious and slightly anxious.
-Good Mornigng Director Serizawa.
-Please sit.
-So, may I read your file?
-If that helps.-says the woman
-So, Lieutenant Margareth Takashi, codename Ice Queen. You are part of the US army. Started service in Afghanistan where participated in several Taliban High Value target assassinations. Your unit was captured on a recon operation on the mountains, but you single handedly broke out your unit and evacuated under heavy fire. You returned to service during the MUTO incident, where you were tasked to search and rescue civilians in San Francisco, entering the city with an High Altitude Low-Opening (HALO) jump. Your unit was re-tasked to provide backup to Alpha while they carried the nuclear bomb to a boat. You and Lieutenant Ford Brody were the only ones who survived the female MUTO attack.
-I lost my entire team to that beast...-comments her
-Yes. I must admit, Lieutenant Takashi, that your portfolio looks quite promising, but I must ask you what drives you to join Monarch's special unit.
-I feel almost an obligation to prevent further casualities because of these monsters.
-I understand you, but during this job, you will mostly guard one. Not fight it.
-I know. Godzilla, isn't it?
-Gojira. Yes. Your team will be trained to operate our special weapons, designed specially against MUTO's. I already picked your EOD specialist.
-Let me guess. Lieutenant Ford Brody.
-Yes. I am about to call him for the offer, but until then, consider his place occupied.
-I know. I remembered covering his unit while they transported the nuke to the boat, after that, the monster knocked me out. When I woke up, all my men were dead.
-I am sorry for your loss.
-We were close, you know. compared to that giant monsters situation, the afghan camp was a walk in the park. We were completly powerless against those things.
-I understand, what I must ask, is if that will interfere on your performance on this organization.

An explosion is heard and the alarm sounds. The two bodyguards at the entrance talk to the radios.
-Director Serizawa. A bomb has been detonated in the security room and all the security systems are offline.
-Is the Anti-Matter safe?
-Without the security sistem online, the vault is open... wait... hostiles have breached the entrance.
-They are coming for the bomb.-concludes Serizawa
-Director Serizawa, let me handle this.- says Takashi- I will help taking down the hostiles so that the bomb is safe.
-Consider yourself hired to lead Monarch Infantry Special Team. Brandon, go with her.
-Will do sir. Stay in your office, lock yourself in and do not open to anyone but us.-says him
Takashi and Brandon exit the office as a door seals it shut from the havoc on the facility. Serizawa reaches for the microphone.
"Lietenant Takashi codename Ice Queen has been assigned to lead MIST. Any personnel must provide her any assistance possible in protecting the bomb.".
Brandon leads Takashi into the armory and she puts a vest on and chooses a MP5 and a Berreta 9mm as sidearm. Brandon arms himself as well and they run to the bomb vault to secure the anti-matter, but when they get there, the guards are dead and the cault is empty. they are spotted by one on the intruders and they are fired upon. They take cover and Takashi tells Brandon to provide cover fire while she flanks them. He starts shooting blindly and Takashi sneaks until she has a good shot on the intruder team. She opens fire, taking out 3 of 5 intruders, having the other 2 ran away. She and Brandon give chase, but are pinned down by more intruders. Brandon gets shot in the open and Takashi drags him away from the bullets and tries to push into them by herself as a helicopter appears and the attacker carrying the antimatter loads it ito it and the intruders start retriating. The rest of the security team leaded by Mr.Johnson arrives and assists Takashi in taking out as much as they can. Takashi tries to reach for the helicopter but it flies away.
-Do not shoot the helicopter. you can trigger the bomb.-says Takashi-Goddamit!
She stares at the helicopter as it flies away right between her fingers. She picks up an walkie-talkie and calls Serizawa.
-Director Serizawa, this is Ice Queen. The attackers flew away with the bomb. I repeat. They took the bomb.
-I need you to assemble the team. Now.

The Minister of Defense dresses the radiation suit along with his crew of bodyguards and they walk through the mine tunnel. The head scientist greets him and they begin descending the massive facility while they observe the giant spore with pulsating orange lights.
-Mr.Minister, we notices seismic activity out of the ordinary. We believe that the creature is about to hatch.
-How sure are you about that?
-Dr.Yamane told us everything that happened before the hatch befor he passed away, and so far, everything seems to indicate that it is happenning in about 2 minutes.
-Are you sure you can contain it inside the electric fence?.
-If I may be honest, I have no idea, but if that fails, we can evacuate the facility and lock it inside it.
-If that happens, how are you sure he does not get out?
-We built a cage made with 4 meters thick titanium outside the fence. if he breaks the fence, the cage will immediatly emerge from it and lock it inside.
They enter an observatory and watch as the cocoon starts to shake. Dozens of armed soldiers surround it pointing their rifles to it.It starts breaking and a massive insect-like leg moves from inside of it. The creature comes out of the cocoon. It looks like a mosquito, but it possesses paws with 4-fingered hands. it roars and everyone shakes from the scare. The creature easily breaks the fence and the lead scientist tells the others to drop the cage, but the cage does not drop. Everyone panics as the monster is not contained. The Minister is escorted from the site as the soldiers try to helplessly shoot against the creature, only angering it into trashing everything in sight. It proceeds to open it's wings and fly away, breaking the ceiling of the cave and causing it to fall on top of the dozens of soldiers and scientists on it. A giant column of smoke and debris forms on what was before known as the radioactive Waste mines. The minister and his bodyguards are soterrated among the other members of the facility, instantly killed. the creature flies in direction of the city and roars.
