Two hours after the terrorist attack

One scientist runs into Serizawa's office and is immediatly sent in.
-Please tell me you have good news.-says Serizawa
-I am afraid that the news I have to communicate are nothing short of catastrophic.
-What is it then.
-A new MUTO started attacking a city in Cretoria near the Nuclear Waste mines.
-What!? How!? Wait... wasn't in Cretoria that Dr.Yamane was last seen?
-Yes. That was where he perished.
-I can almost bet that has something to do with him.
He reaches for his phone.
-Get me Cretoria's Prime Minister on the line.
-Sure Mr.Director. Please wait.
After some time, the minister picks up.
-Yes?
-This is Director Serizawa, head of the Monarch. Tell me one good reason I don't put you and your entire goverment on the International Court.
-Please, Mr.Serizawa. I am sure we can handle this situation...
-You fools! You have no idea what you have done!
Serizawa looks at the scientist while the Prime Minister tries desperatly to explain himself.
-I am guessing the other news are about Gojira.
The scientist nods his head in afirmation and Serizawa continues the conversation with the Minister.
-Evacuate the cities and send us the location of your mines, bunkers, everything that has radioactive matter. I am going to insert a team to deal with your mess. Where
is the Minister of defense?
-He is dead.
-Great. One less fool left alive in the world.
Serizawa angrily hangs up the phone and rests his head on the palms of his hands.
-When did he started moving?
-During the attack.He is headed to the Red Sea
-Of course. he sensed the MUTO's awakening and since he is faster underwater, he will ascend to the Mediterranean Sea, and then the Black Sea. From then, he can only
walk North into Cretoria. How much would that take?
-Judging the current speed and the estimated on land, I would say about 2-3 days.
-Ok. keep me posted if any changes ocurr.
He then proceeds to pick up the phone again and asks his secretary to get Ford Brody on the line. After some time, Sam Brody answers the phone.
-Hello? Who is this?- asks the boy.
-Hi. You must be Sam. I am Ishiro Serizawa. Could you please pass the phone to your father?
-Yes. please hang on a bit.
Serizawa hears Sam calling for his father and after a few seconds he picks up.
-I am not even going to ask how you got this number.-says Ford irritated.
-We need you Lieutenant Brody.
-Was it too hard to find someone else? It shouldn't be, as your organization easily got my number.
-Listen to me please. We have been attacked, but right now, that is the least. Have you seen the news?
-No. What about it?
-The Cretorians have released a MUTO.
-You must be kidding me.
-It is no time for jokes Mr.Brody. There is a monster on the loose and our best weapon against it has been stolen on an attack to our base.
-And what makes me so special for you to come to me for help?
-This is what you do Mr.Brody. Remember? You have a wife and a son. You must go out there and help us save them.
-I can't. I belong here to them.
-That is you being just a survivor Mr.Brody. Survivors barely make it. But heroes, they have the power to make a stand against every threat. I need the man that was
willing to die for his family. I need Lieutenant Brody.
A long silence was mantained on both sides of the line.
-Give me one day.-says Ford
-Sure. Good afternoon Mr. Brody.
Serizawa hangs up and Takashi enters.
-Were you talking to Brody?
-Yes. I am confident that he will accept. We will see tomorrow.
-Good. Meanwhile, I went through the various army's files and gathered a few names: Robert "Heartbeat" Butler, ex-SAS, highly condecorated Sharpshooter, served with my
unit in Afghanistan. He is the best sniper I've seen. Next is Nikita "Hammer" Makarov, heavy arms specialist, can be handy when we meet those terrorists again, and
then, there is Carlos "Goodnight" Ribeiro, currently in the Brazil's special forces, the BOPE, if we need to enter a place crawling with tangos smoothly, it's this guy
we want with us. Counting with me and Brody, and we have a nice team.
-Good job Lietenant. Make the calls and assemble the team. I want them armed and operational in two days.
-Will do, sir.

Prime Minister's Residence
Cretoria
At the same time

-Sir, the insurgents have provocked the protesters. It's a civil war out there.-says the Vice-Prime Minister
-What options do we have?-says the Prime Minister
-We can only abandon the country and manage our resources from afar. The Talaghan surely have this thought.
-Any news on the mine's surveillance footage?
-Yes. We noticed that as the order to drop the cage was given, the operators were executed. probably inside men.
-So, the Talaghan wanted the monster to be released.
-It appears so.
-We have been played like fools. Get the General on the line and tell him to organize a full scale attack on the monster while Monarch's unit doesn't arrive. They are
our best shot in cleaning this mess.
-I will. Prime Minister, please abandon this residence while they are not breaching the gates. The car is waiting.
-OK, I am going to my private residence. You are in charge now.
-I will take care of this.
The prime minister is escorted to the car and just as he enters, the motorist turns around and shoots him in the head, executing him. The Vice-Prime Minister is
executed as well, and a strong looking man enters the room and is greeted.
-How is the bomb?
-It is safe master.
-And Godzilla?
-He is coming.
-Good. Let's go. We need to get out of here. Let the protesters deal with the rest of this scum. Rise with rage.
The man enters a car and exits through the back. Everything is going according to the plan:
"As the Goverment is fallen, and the monster is wreacking havoc in the cities, it is the perfect time to continue the plan. The UN has sent their pet lizard, but we
have a monster of our own plus with the anti-matter bomb. After Godzilla is dealt with, we will keep up with our monster and we will take down those power-hungry
swines and restore the proper balance to this world."

Two days after the assassination.

Ford Brody arrives along with Heartbeat, Hammer and Goodnight. They are greeted by Ice Queen and head to Serizawa's Office.
-So, it seems we are working together. I am looking forward to it gentlemen.-says Takashi
-I heard you were with the team that helped us carrying the nuke.-says Ford
-That is true.
-I don't know if it helps, but I am sorry for you loss.
-What matters is that we made it, isn't that right?
They enter the office and Serizawa greets them.
-Welcome gentelmen, and welcome back Mr.Brody. I know it is a bit tough, since you lost both of your parents here, but I look forward that you end up being ok.
-I will sir.
-So, What exactly are we going to do Mr.Serizawa?-asks Hammer
-I asked Lieutenant Takashi to assemble a special Monarch operations team to designed as MIST. You will be leaded by Lt. Takashi here, codename Ice Queen.
-Sounds badass.-says Goodnight
-Anyway, you will be trained to operate with our special weaponry. Your primary assignment was to assist Gojira, but after the attack executed a terrorist organization
dubbed "Talaghan", you have been re-tasked to retrieve the Weaponized Anti-Matter and use it to assist Gojira against the monster that has been released in there.
-So, we are helping Godzilla taking down the other monster? Why not both in one shot?-asks Hammer
-Because, Mr. Makarov, Gojira is only here to restore Nature's balance. If we take him down, we are defenseless against future threats.
-I guess that I come in on the "bomb" part, am I sure?-asks Ford
-That's right Mr.Brody. You will receive training in disarming/arming the bomb. Your role will be crucial if the enemy manages to use it.
-These Talaghan brats, weren't they only the average-small terrorist cell that bombed schools twice a week?
-It seems that they are expanding. You will be provided dossiers with everything you need to know about our enemy. Now get to work. Time is short.
