Godzilla Vs Mothra. It's fun, lighthearted and visually entertaining, perfect for any occasion! (Especially if you're having a rough day!)

I would go with Godzilla vs. King Kong, or Godzilla vs. The Thing. I love both of those movies. Don't go with Gojira, Godzilla Returns, or Godzilla vs. Biollante, while great movies, they are too serious in tone for a bad day.

Funny that you mention this; I often watch Final Wars after having a bad day. The fairly lighthearted nature of this movie (along with the various silly and awesome scenes) helps me feel better.
