Out of all of the millennium films this is the only one that had a sequel. Why do you think it was?

Maybe they wanted to have MechaGodzilla get another chance because he was a great enemy. I don't know. I've only seen the first G vs MG. and that was a while ago.

I think Kiryu was just popular, so they wanted to give him another movie.
