Godzilla Movie Loyalty Pledge: Are you Godzilla Enough?

Greetings to all fans and followers of the mighty Gojira!

If you’re like me, you’re excited for Godzilla 2014, but simultaneously nervous about how it might perform at the Box Office.

Of course, you will see the film, and revel in the splendor of Godzilla’s return. However, that is expected. Just as expected as Zilla’s defeat in Final Wars.

If Godzilla 2014 is to be successful enough to warrant a sequel, it is going to require more than just a King Kong sized effort.

Therefore, in order to ensure the success and a sequel to Godzilla 2014, I respectfully ask all of you who are Godzilla enough to take…

The Pledge:

1. I will see Godzilla 2014 twice in theaters

1. I will do one of the following:

               A. Share every Godzilla 2014 Trailer that is released on Facebook, Twitter, and whatever social                media is available to me

               B. Spread The Pledge onto as many Godzilla fansites as possible to raise participation

1. I will write/post/etch the Japanese symbols for “Godzilla” in at least on public place (school locker, coffee shop event wall, drying concrete at a construction site, etc.) and if anyone is to ask me what it means, I am to reply: “The secret to happiness in the universe” or any other phrase which arouses ominous curiosity

1. I will not see either the new Spiderman movie OR the new X-Men movie until June, if at all

1. I will do another one of the following (although more Godzilla Karma will come to you the more you achieve:

          A. Promise my significant other/spouse whatever favors are necessary to make sure they come               see the movie

          B. I will take my all of my children to see the movie

          C. I will get a group of my friends to see the movie, even if I must lie, and tell them we’re only               going to make fun of it……Let Godzilla dry his eyes tears from their stinging insults with their                   money!!!!

          D. If I have no significant other, children, or friends…..I will get to work on that….but first, I will               pay a homeless man on the side of the street to go see the movie with me

1. I will buy the Godzilla 2014 movie on DVD or Blu-Ray as it becomes available

So who is with me??? Come now fans of the Big-G! Let’s make sure 2014 is not the last time we see the King of the Monsters wade victoriously into the sunset. Outmatched, we must charge forth, into the general public with the tenacity of Anguirus, so that, even if we do not succeed, for those that took The Pledge, no one can say that we did not try.
