Earlier this month we reported that Godzilla 2000 (1999), the first film in the Millennium Godzilla series, would be returning to US theaters! Now, Fathom Events has released a new trailer for Takao Okawara's last Godzilla movie! Take a look:
This will be the first time that the Japanese version of the film will be shown in US theaters. The screening will happen for one night only, November 1st, 2023. In addition, the movie will be using the US theatrical posters with the Fathom Events logo and 2023 trademarks:
For many, Godzilla 2000 felt like the beginning of a long lineage for Godzilla theatrical experiences in the States. So it's fitting that in celebration of Godzilla's anniversary, Godzilla 2000 will return to theaters.
