Toho's Official Youtube has now dropped a second trailer for the US screening of Godzilla against MechaGodzilla, distributed by Fathom Events. Like the initial teaser, the second trailer is the same one used for its 2002 Japanese release, but with English overlays and a "November 3rd" release date. Take a look:
Yesterday, Fathom Events officially announced the film would be screened across select cinemas on Godzilla Day, November 3rd! The film, directed by Masaaki Tezuka, celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 7th! You can pre-order on the Fathom Events website.
The 68th Anniversary celebration of the King of the Monsters is shaping up to be a massive event. Festivities also include Japan's Godzilla Festival 2022, streaming online November 3rd, Criterion's celebration of Ishiro Honda, Heisei and Millennium Godzilla films streaming on Hulu and John Carpenter hosting Godzilla and kaiju classics for Shout! Factory!
