The Godzilla Store Opens Soon in Japan!

In 2016 the online Godzilla Store launched as one of the many venues promoting Shin Godzilla. Now Toho has announced that the world's first outlet dedicated to Godzilla-only merchandise will open this October 30th.

Located on the first floor of the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, known for the 1992 Godzilla peering overhead, the store will sell over 500 items. Store exclusives will be sold and fans can apply for a Godzilla Visa Card.

Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters will debut in Japanese theaters two and a half weeks later. The film stars the voice talents of Mamoru Miyano (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Ultraman Zero: The Movie), Takahiro Sakurai (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans), Kana Hanazawa (.hack//Quantum), Yuki Kaji (Attack on Titan), Tomokazu Sugita (Attack on Titan), Junichi Suwabe (Space Dandy), Kenta Miyake (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn), Kenyu Horiuchi (Bleach, One Piece), Kazuhiro Yamaji (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children) and Kazuya Nakai (Dragon Ball Super). The film is directed by Kobun Shizuno (Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare) & Hiroyuki Seshita (Knights of Sidonia) from a screenplay by Gen Urobuchi (Kamen Rider Gaim).

The film will debut worldwide on Netflix sometime after its Japanese theatrical release.
