As if Pacific Rim, Godzilla (2014) and Shin Godzilla wasn't enough of a treat over the last three years, fans also have Kong: Skull Island, Pacific Rim: Uprising, two upcoming Godzilla productions and a Godzilla/Kong crossover to instill the idea that giant monsters are back with a vengeance. The upcoming Rampage, Colossal and continuing Ultraman series don't hurt either. To add to the celebration of this new age of monsters, the recent Shin Godzilla was nominated for eleven Japanese Academy Prizes.
