Tokyo Comic Con kicked off this weekend and Godzilla: King of the Monsters director Michael Dougherty was present for the film's panel. The event revealed plenty of new images and S.H. MonsterArts' line-up for the upcoming film.
Additionally, Dougherty spoke of the changes to Godzilla's design.
"These spikes come from the 1954 version. And I made his feet a little bit bigger--He needed bigger claws. Godzilla's spikes are his crown, so they needed to be big."
Many of the adjustments Dougherty made were lead complaints over the design in 2014. ("Elephant feet" and small spikes.) Also check out the new Rodan, Mothra & King Ghidorah designs via S.H. MonsterArts upcoming figures!
