Yumiko Shaku, star of 2002's Godzilla against MechaGodzilla, took to her blog with a special announcement--For the 15th anniversary of the fan favorite film, SH MonsterArts will make Godzilla 2002 part of their line-up! She and director Masaaki Tezuka met at the Bandai "head office" and were pictured with the SH MonsterArts Kiryu and a 2002 Godzilla! For more details, she urged fans to be on the lookout for an upcoming Hobby Japan interview.
"It's been 15 years in no time," Shaku wrote, "Time passes so quickly."
A formal announcement is expected shortly. Gormaru Island recently reported that 10 major announcements will be revealed at Tamashii Nation 2017--Something Shin Godzilla-related being at the top of the list. Whether or not Godzilla 2002 gets some love at the event will be revealed November 30th.
