Official Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire merchandise artwork (created by Jared Krichevsky - the guy who designed Mechagodzilla for Godzilla vs. Kong) shows the King of Monsters sporting red dorsal plates as well as a slightly updated design.

This coincides with the recent Unite posters which also sported Godzilla with glowing red eyes! Unlike the blue hue his plates and eyes have usually sported (except when he went Thermonuclear in KoTM):

We know the dorsal plate and eye color signify important changes in Godzilla's state and mood. Given that this doesn't seem to be a Thermonuclear state however, we wonder what the red eyes and plates mean for Godzilla x Kong! Give us your best guess below!
