On a side note, I'm super pumped to get this book tomorrow!!!! I talked to the guy at my local comic book shop, and he said he'd set aside the ONLY copy he's getting for me to pick up tomorrow!!!! :D How cool is that?! I'd love to do a review on this site once I finish it! :) But I'll probably hold off until the Reviews section is created closer to the film's release.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-07-2014 11:32 AMVERY cool. I'm starting to think the story "ties in" old Godzilla movies by creating fictional links between them. I'm guessing the Serezawa family remind connected to and interested in Godzilla for generations.
Ishiro, from Godzilla's revenge, is actually Ishiro Serezawa, and his father who worked long hours with the "shipping company" is actually part of the team monitoring monster activity.
Ken Wantanabe will be portraying this kid, Ichiro Serezawa, as an adult in the new movie. What an exciting way to tie in old Godzilla-fan stories with the new movie.
