Burning Godzilla and Jet Jaguar figures from Playmates Toys have been confirmed for 2021 release.

In an interview conducted by Chris Mirjahangir of Toho Kingdom, the Vice President of Marketing at Playmates Toys: John Stelzner discussed the Godzilla and Kong figure lines being released by the company. Answering questions that many fans have been asking for the last year.
Setting the record straight, one of the first things confirmed by Stelzner was that all of Playmates Toys figures were their own molds. However, Bandai figures launched with the initial release of the Toho Classic figures were a part of a purchase deal made with the company. It's now also been confirmed that Playmates Toys has the rights to produce any of Toho's monsters in the Godzilla franchise. Currently new figures of Godzilla 1995 and Jet Jaguar are scheduled for a Spring 2021 release. With a "few new monsters" and another 11 inch Godzilla to be released in the Fall of 2021.
Most exciting for fans of the various Bandai figure lines is that going forward, all of playmates toys' monster figures will be produced in vinyl instead of hard plastic.
