It's time for another weekly kaiju recap from Scified! This past week saw the arrival of new kaiju prototype images, Ultraman forms, film announcements, and concept artwork. So, without further ado, let's jump in.
Four new Ultraman forms from the upcoming Ultraman Z series were revealed. In total, there are three new Ultraman Z forms and one new Ultraman Geed form. The new Ultraman Z forms are called Alpha Edge, Beta Smash, and Gamma Future, while the new Ultraman Geed form is named Galaxy Rising.



Legendary's Monsterverse Watchalong continued this past week with a viewing of Kong: Skull Island. During the film, the official Legendary social media accounts shared some stunning artwork from the film. You can view a full gallery of the artwork here.

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 has officially been delayed from it's June 27th release date due to theater closures related to COVID-19. No new release date has been announced, however, the following poster and message from director Hideaki Anno have been shared with fans.


Lastly, new model images and information from the upcoming kaiju documentary/recreation film Nezura 1964 were shared. The images showcase a model of the main kaiju from the film called "Mammoth Nezura." Additionally, it was revealed that the kaiju will stand at 80 meters long, weigh in at 70 tons, and is listed as being a "cannibal" in the film.
