A possible new release date for Godzilla vs. Kong inside of the UK has been discovered.
The UK cinema chain Cineworld has updated the information for Godzilla vs. Kong on their website. In the new details, the release date for the upcoming film is now shown as June 18, 2021.
This new date is significant because it would mean that Godzilla vs. Kong would be released nearly an entire month after the previously established date of May 21, 2021.
However, it's worth noting that this date is most likely either just inaccurate, or it is only a new date for the UK (and doesn't have anything to do with the Warner Bros. vs. Legendary battle). It is common for films to sometimes be released in the UK several weeks after other locations, so this date almost certainly doesn't represent a new overall delay for the upcoming Monsterverse installment.
The new information on Cineworld's website also states that Godzilla vs. Kong will have a runtime of 120 minutes. However, Cineworld oftentimes lists 120 minutes as a standard placeholder value for films with an unknown runtime, so this information is most likely inaccurate.

Update: Cineworld has changed the release date on their website back to May 21, 2021.
