New concept artwork from Godzilla: King of the Monsters has been revealed. The images were recently shared on ArtStation by Emmanuel Shiu, who helped create concept art for the film.
Shown in the images is an early idea of what a battle damaged Godzilla may have looked like following his second battle with King Ghidorah. In the newly discovered concept art, Godzilla features numerous wounds that appear to have his blue "atomic glow" flowing out of them.
The images also showcase an early concept of Godzilla's lair from the 2019 film. In the artwork, we can see a new look at the long, tunnel-like entrance to the king's home.
