In another promotional stint for Godzilla Resurgence, Toho and PARCO have teamed up for an ad that pits their iconic mascots against each other. PARCO is a chain of department stores in Japan that is represented by their character “Parcoala”. (Think Geoffrey the Giraffe’s role for Toys "R" Us.)
In the television advert, some brief new footage of Shin-Godzilla is seen having a stand-off with a giant Parcoala. The PARCO character also replaces Godzilla in some key shots from the latest Godzilla Resurgence trailer. Enjoy the goofiness below.
