Mondo has gone all out for Godzilla Day. In addition to their highly anticipated Return of Godzilla soundtrack release on vinyl, the company has added to their collection with some exciting new additions.
The third figure in Mondo's Godzilla Museum line is the original 1954, “ShodaiGoji”. The figure, depicting Godzilla's first appearance in the original 1954 masterpiece, was sculpted by Tufan Sezer and painted in grayscale by Hilary Arce to reflect the film's color. The two prior figures in the Godzilla Museum line included the “Attack Peter” artist interpretation and Hanna Barbara Godzilla.
New posters for Shin Godzilla and Godzilla vs. Hedorah, honoring the latter film's 50th Anniversary have been announced. Art by Florian Bertmer and Tom Whalen, respectively.
Hilary Arce also adds to the soft vinyl line with new Mondo versions of Godzilla's 1984 and Hedorah. The former honoring Godzilla's look inThe Return of Godzilla, celebrating Mondo's soundtrack vinyl release, the latter also honoring Godzilla vs. Hedorah's 50th.
The collection goes on sale tomorrow, November 3rd, Godzilla's Birthday. Be sure to visit Mondo's Official Site for prices.
