Mechagodzilla's Design from Godzilla vs. Kong Revealed

Mechagodzilla's design from Godzilla vs. Kong has surfaced online!

Note that the following content may contain what some fans will consider to be spoilers for the upcoming film.

Thanks to a new shirt listing from Heredia Clothing, we now have our first real look at Mechagodzilla's design from Godzilla vs. Kong. The new mechanized Titan seems to be very similar to his appearance from Ready Player One and looks like a true "Ultimate Destroyer" that could challenge both Godzilla and Kong.

You can view the brand new images for yourself down below, and let us know in the comments whether or not you believe that Mechagodzilla will be related to the return of another iconic Titan in Godzilla vs. Kong.

That is totally real.  "It has to"

That quote was Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Also Gman, the RPO design was awesome looking.

I like it. It has a retro feel to it but modernized. Much better than Ready Player One. That designed felt "phoned-in" and lazy, especially given how many references are in that movie. I can't wait to see this MechaGodzilla in action.

I love EVERYTHING about this desien, aside from the dorsel fins (and yes I am one of the two wierd people who call his spikes dorsal fins dont sue me). I find that how there just sqaures very jaring and dumb looking.aside from that
I love it, but to to say its my favorite would be very insane

Dunno why, but this design is giving me Zilla vibes... Hehe Mechazilla I guess, hopefully the execution outweighs the design... hopefully but this is the monsterverse after all

What's wrong with the RPO Mechagodzilla?

Don't worry, I call them dorsal plates rather than spines or spikes

@Xenotaris, I don't like the RPO MechaGodzilla for a few reasons. 1, I felt that making a new design was lazy and kind of a rip off considering how many easter eggs and cameos from multiple different franchises are in the film. 2, I think the arms on the RPO MechaGodzilla are too long. They don't look proportionally right to me when compared to Godzilla and other MechaGodzilla's. 3, I don't like how many wires are showing on the outside of the body. For a robot designed to fight giant monsters, that many exposed electrical wires just seem like a big weak point. But that is just my opinion.

The RPO MechaGodzilla just comes off as too generic. It's like they weren't sure if they could get the license to use MechaGodzilla, so they designed a generic robo-dinosaur they could call something else just in case it didn't work out. It's a boring design.

I love the slim design, and if it is a Mecha-G only designed to counter Godzilla then i believe the big G is gonna lose/die in this Movie as Kong will have an advantage against something not designed to counter. And the Monsterverse will move on with Kong.
