Highlighting another phenomenal work of Godzilla fan art, today we're bringing new attention to an incredible fan-made animated film created by YouTuber Methlokaijufan97, who's been bringing Godzilla fantasies to life through animation for 4 years now! Titled Battle of Mechs / Mechagodzilla vs Jaegers vs Godzilla, this more recent fan film combines both the Monsterverse and Pacific Rim universes into one! The film also introduces a new "Zilla subspecies" Kaiju to the mix as if Mechagodzilla, Godzilla and Jaegers weren't enough.
Considering this is an independent fan project, it's quite remarkable the level of detail and quality that went into the near 20-minute short film. In the 3 months since its original upload the video has gained 1.4 million views. We think it deserves more, so scroll down, sit back, and enjoy:
