Roland Emmerich's 1998 Godzilla movie introduced a controversial redesign for Toho's King of Monsters. So much so, that both Toho and the fan base renamed the monster from Emmerich's film to Zilla. The design for Zilla was as opposite as one could be compared to the hulking, bulky aesthetic of Toho's original Gojira. This new sculpture however, created by Masazumi Matsumoto gives Zilla a more classic and less controversial redesign – one that better embodies Godzilla's iconic aesthetic. Check it out:



This 13cm tall sculpture will be on sale for 15,000 Yen at Wonder Festival at table 3-15-04. Quantities are limited to 30 units!
