Yet again, Japanese fans have taken to Twitter with low-fi footage from Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, premiering this weekend in Japan. Two new clips show fresh footage or give relevant information about the film's universe.
The first clip reveals aspects of mankind's lost war with the kaiju. An animated map reveals where monsters such as Kamacuras, Rodan and Orga attacked--As well as Godzilla. You can watch the clip on Twitter here.
The next clip shows a battle between the massive, 20,000 year old Godzilla and the Earth Returnists. The latter appear to be having a bad day. You view this clip on Twitter here.

Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters stars the voice talents of Mamoru Miyano (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Ultraman Zero: The Movie), Takahiro Sakurai (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans), Kana Hanazawa (.hack//Quantum), Yuki Kaji (Attack on Titan), Tomokazu Sugita (Attack on Titan), Junichi Suwabe (Space Dandy), Kenta Miyake (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn), Kenyu Horiuchi (Bleach, One Piece), Kazuhiro Yamaji (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children) and Kazuya Nakai (Dragon Ball Super). The film is directed by Kobun Shizuno (Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare) & Hiroyuki Seshita (Knights of Sidonia) from a screenplay by Gen Urobuchi (Kamen Rider Gaim).
The movie will open in Japanese theaters November 17th, 2017 and hit Netflix sometime in 2018.
