Concept artist Jared Krichevsky has just shared some new Mechagodzilla concept art he created for Godzilla vs. Kong and with it, some insight to what drove the design style of this new Mechagodzilla incarnation! Apparently during their meeting with Adam Wingard about what they wanted Mechagodzilla to look like, Legacy Effects Co-Head John Rosengrant said this Mechagodzilla had to be a Terminator:
