The next Monsterverse installment continues its journey through production as filming on Godzilla x Kong: Supernova occurred yesterday at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City! According to this report, 150 extras were hired for the shoot:

As well as the handling of 150 extras, the use of a lane on Hidalgo Avenue to park 22 mobile units, along with some dressing rooms and restrooms. A communications worker from the museum itself even attended to ensure everything ran smoothly and, of course, that the recording wouldn't interfere with the museum's opening.

We still don't know how the image of the Palacio de Bellas Artes will be used in the potential film, as the producers haven't revealed any details about the filming yet. However, I wonder if in this series of shots we'll see Godzilla from behind on the facade of the building, or if Kong will leap with his mechanical arm through the windows of the Torre Latinoamericana.

Concerned fans have been sharing what looks like a toy leak of the SpaceGodzilla design from Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, but thankfully – it's fake.

CONFIRMED: SpaceGodzilla will be in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova (2027)!
Filings have revealed that Space Godzilla has been licensed for use in the Monsterverse and will appear in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova!
