Last month, the VFX-Japan organization released its nominees, which included Godzilla Singular Point for the TV Animation CG category. Although some fans mistranslated this as a win for the acclaimed series, the award winners were announced today!
Godzilla Singular Point is the 2022 winner for special effects excellence in an animated series! The series was produced by animation studios Orange and Bones. CG directors Ryuichi Ikeuchi, Yuji Koshida and Seishi Suzuki were honored for their work on the latest Godzilla story.
