Yamazaki will helming the next feature length Godzilla film tentatively titled Godzilla Zero, which hits theaters this November.
Shin Ultraman adds to its mountain of accolades after racking up four Japanese Academy Awards. The film won a VFX-Japan award for the Live-Action Theatrical Film category.
This is the second year in a row the Godzilla franchise has won a VFX-Japan award. Godzilla: Singular Point won for the TV Animation CG category in 2022. CG directors Ryuichi Ikeuchi, Yuji Koshida and Seishi Suzuki were honored for their work.
