Yes! According to an article by ABC news, recently co-director Shinji Higuchi talked about Godzilla 2016, and he gave confirmation that the new film will be a combination of both classic Tokusatsu and CGI.

This is outstanding news! Most hardcore G-Fans have been near death at any news of this upcoming film, me included. Along with the article, it is said that this new Godzilla will be larger than Hollywood's Godzilla 2014. This hasn't been directly said by the man [Shinji Higuchi] himself, but it's a pretty cool thought.
This is also among previous rumors of the film being an updated Godzilla 1954, which must have driven long-time fans ecstatic, once again, me included!
This is just amazing news. Incredible! I was hyped, but now I am extremely hyped. This film could potentially be one of the most fantastic Godzilla films ever created; it could be on par with the original!
Higuchi stated that the film will be made like the recently released Attack on Titan; the movie was a pretty bad-ass film that most Tokusatsu lovers are proud of!
Overall, I am psyched, and I am sure many others are. This is a great era for G-Fans, and I most definitley can't wait. Thanks to member AlexTheBurger for the heads up!
