Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters will be arriving in theaters this week in the UK and US. After 5 years, we finally are getting the Destroy All Monsters style sequel Gareth Edwards envisioned after his 2014 Monsterverse debut. Mike Dougherty has done a phenomenal job bringing Mothra, Rodan and Ghidorah to the big screen and introducing them to the Warner Bros. / Legendary Monsterverse. The film has been touted by critics as an action-packed masterpiece and we can not wait to witness the chaos for ourselves this Thursday!
However - fans eager for more will definitely want to stick around after the credits roll at the end of Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
We can confirm, there is teaser footage placed at the end of the film's credits. Although we will not spoil what the footage contains, we will remind you that next year Adam Wingard's Godzilla vs. Kong will release in theaters. And Godzilla vs. Kong is the next installment in the Monsterverse. I think you can put two and two together.
Discussion of the end credits scene will begin next week. With that said, what are you waiting for? Get your tickets for Godzilla: King of the Monsters NOW!
