The Toho classic monster Destroyah was at one point the rumored super Titan to be the primary antagonist in Godzilla vs. Kong (2020) but those rumors eventually fell through. However, that didn't stop fans from speculating and voicing their excitement at the prospect of Destroyah joining the Warner Brothers / Legendary Monsterverse.
Despite the lack of Destroyah in Godzilla vs. Kong this Fall, the internet has been flooded with awesome fan artwork envisioning a Monsterverse Destroyah and as of last night we have another epic piece to add to the list!
Created by Twitter user takamutsu, this latest piece recreates the iconic Burning Godzilla vs. Destroyah from the Toho original, but redesigned Destroyah to better align with the rest of the Monsterverse updates its respective Monsters underwent. Check it out:
