The idea of a Mosasaur-like Godzilla form is cool, I just don't get why they made it look like Titanosaurus.
Also, Godzilla is already amphibious, why does he need an "aquatic" form?

Apparently not...
Even though I wasn't a fan of the "Aquatilis" design, I was kind of excited to see a new version of Titanosaurus...
...now I'm just dissapointed.

I disagree. Titano should be it’s own thing not a spinosaurid.

AdminGodzillaApr-16-2021 1:02 PMWithout heavy spoilers, since I'm the only one here who has seen the show so far, I'll say this much. There is no confirmation that this is "THE" Godzilla in the show. There's also no indication yet that he evolves like in Shin Godzilla. So far it seems to be a totally different creature.
My theory is it's some sort of sub and/or related species to Godzilla.
But I haven't seen enough of it yet, so there's really no details.

Hopefully they'll give a reason for it. It's definitely an odd design choice.
