Empire Magazine featured a full spread dedicated to Adam Wingard's Godzilla vs. Kong sequel Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, along with interviews with the director. Wingard addresses Godzilla's new look, his numerous evolutions we'll witness in the film, alluding to power-ups and other methods Godzilla will use to size up for the competition. He also touches on Kong being the hero of the franchise and how in this film, there a very personal journey he's going through.
