Takashi Yamazaki's new Mechagodzilla design for Toho was on display in statue form for the grand opening of Japan's new Godzilla ride teased earlier this year. Yamazaki himself was also present to commemorate the grand opening as well! Photos of the new Mechagodzilla statue have made their way online, giving us a much closer and more detailed look at the new monster which also features as part of the ride experience:
