when i googled godzilla 2014 it said they were going to intoduce 2 new monsters to the film. i think thats cool because usually when godzilla comes back from hiatus there is no monsters. i hope the new monsters have a cool design like gigan and not something bland like gorosaurus. i hope the fights are long unlike in final wars.

godzilla vs mecha godzilla 2 because i like how they made godzilla jr. he actually resembles godzilla. i think he's an improement over minya. i also like the way rodan looks in this movie.

atomic breath is godzillas trademark move it would be a middle finger to godzilla fans everywhere not to put that beam into a legit godzilla movie. the american godzilla had an excuse. he wasnt the real godzilla. but the 2014 one has to have or it's barely a godzilla movie. im pretty sure they will.

My wishlist for the Plot: -[b][u]Do not[/u][/b] make it yet ANOTHER direct sequel to Gojira/Godzilla 1954. -Make this the start of a Kaiju Cinematic Universe, with Godzilla as the key to an Age of Giant Monsters. -Make Godzilla the [i]Main[/i] focus of the film, the human characters should help us get info from him and other important etc. -Since Darabont will have Godzilla based on a current contemporary issue, have Godzilla's origins being a surviving dinosaur mutated from Radiation leaked from the Japanese Nuclear Plant Incident. -Don't make Godzilla a Villain, being a Force of Nature is good because its along the lines of an Anti-Hero. Both of Godzilla's foes on this should be the Villains. -Have references to the Toho Godzilla Franchise. Since Takarada is already making a cameo, maybe have homages to Gojira, like have Godzilla attack a ship in the opening, crush and stomp trains, and even popping his head out of a hill or Mountain.

Yes but the Franchise shouldn't start an annual release, maybe have a 2 year rest, like a sequel comes out in 2017, another one 2020, then on 2023, and so on so forth.

my favorite is save the earth for the ps2 and xbox because that was the first godzilla game i played i like the good selection of monsters you get on it. i think i would like godzilla trading battle for the ps1 better because it has more monsters than any other godzilla game but sadly it's japan only.

godzilla vs mecha godzilla was awesome i like how they introduced king ceazar in there even though he wasnt that tough in it. i also like how they made mecha godzilla a very tough oponet to beat. the only thing i didnt like about it was that they had that one girl singing on and on forever.

He shouldn't be kept secret, everyone knows how Godzilla looks like. Keeping it secret is like keeping Batman's look in a Batman movie secret.

My favorite Godzilla game is of course Save The Earth, it has a special place in my heart.

I would like to see Michael Giacchino do it. Listening to his Cloverfield piece "Roar" makes me want him to do it even more!

I hope that new or rarely seen monsters are used for the first film, the attention should be centered around him. At some point in possible sequels though, it would be awesome to see monsters on Godzilla's side like Anguirus or Rodan fighting a big mainstay villian like King Ghidorah with him.

Yeah, Godzilla's death in 54 was to make the audience appreciate the fact of how powerful he was, and that a nuclear deterrent needed to be used against him just to kill him. Seeing him overpower and destroy a monster as powerful as a nuclear deterrent would accomplish the same thing. But an evil counterpart sequel (MG) or an arch nemesis sequel (KG) would be sick in the far off future.

Godzilla has had a longstanding tradition of suitmation. Every Godzilla fan I know has a laundry list of favourite suit designs by film or year, and even those who aren't fans know the films' famed use of rubber costumes. However that's really all a layman to the Godzilla franchise knows...that there are rubber suits. A pretty clear image of a lower budget Eiji Tsubaraya Godzilla film with bad dubbing, floppy costumes, and rotoscoping effects comes to mind. Even with Godzilla's name value, is suitmation really even an option for a pretty bored and seen-it-all modern audience? I think I can learn to accept motion capture (and hopefully anamatronics) as a spiritual evolution to suitmation.

Absolutely they will include the beam. Godzilla was meant to be a physical embodiment of nuclear terror, and the beam translates that perfectly. Plus, seeing Godzilla breathe the beam is natural to fans and newcomers alike, everyone can understand the image of the fire-breathing dragon as something scary and powerful.

Suitmation has been around with Godzilla for ever. And they should do that because it would be respect twords the old sereis. However if they do have it be computer animated I wouldn't mind becasue who knows? Maybe it will end up being just as good.

And yeah DLC packages for it would be pretty legit. Maybe even online gameplay?

But yes, joegernaut, I agree any brand new godzilla game that fits my console at all would be very welcome. I just think they should mix it up next time if they do create a new one.

How about a role playing game sort of like GTA or Skyrim where you can explore, choose what missions you'd like to do, create your own character(so to speak), make decisions, choose things like alliances(Army, Alien, Earth-Defenders, Mutants, and so on..) and have an overall feeling of freedom in the game?

i have heard the two version story before, I think that Godzilla won and kong was running away or that they were possibly setting it up for another go round some time in the future.

I think that mine would have to be the burning Godzilla suit, then it would be the GMK, followed by the 84 return design.

Thought that it was OK, I agree that the monster did not get long enough to have a decent battle. I would have liked more focus on the monsters and less on the people. I did however love seeing Godzilla beating Zilla. I hated the 98 american remake so it was good to see the King get some revenge.

I cant wait to get this one and I hope that the ending ends like the final wars version, the True King beating the heck out of the impostor. Long Live the Big G

They are not trying to make a version like the 54 so I think that they will have a mid credits or post credits scene that sets it up for the next movie. I think that they only think that only thing they are trying to mimic is the dark tone of the 54 version. Can't wait till 2014

I am pretty sure that they are going to include the Atomic Breath in the new film. The director said that he wants to make a movie that the fans of the original Japanese films would appreciate. Which means no lizard looking Godzilla and would have the atomic breath.

Godzilla look ! I was young like 4-5 when I saw my first godzilla movie. I was and still love dinosaurs so the idea of a giant t-rex looking dinosaur stomping on city was the coolest thing i had seen. My dad was a little bit of a fan so he introduced me to them. I think the first one i saw was the original Godzilla. Then I saw Godzilla 1984 which I like the look but the story line kind of stunk. I was hooked for life my cellphone cover is even the 90's Japanese version of the Big G

I think that it should be kept secret. I just hope that they keep the form true to the original Godzilla and not lizard like, like zilla 98. I also hope that the atomic breath returns as well.
