Yeh, from the look of the comic con footage an R (or 15) certificate would seem plausible, (the trailer was pretty damn bleak and haunting). But its defo gonna be a PG-13 (12A) no matter what. Reasons being mostly money and marketability. Plus its Godzilla, he's already iconic so its gonna make big bucks. But I think the film is going to be one of those hard-hitting PG-13 films, doesn't exactly play up to kids to the full, more for the adults, but make the kids gawp at the awesomeness. (i.e. The Dark Knight trilogy)

I was able to watch the trailer, and I wish it wasn't so blurry so I could figure out what was happening during some scenes...nonetheless, it seems like a trailer they plan to release closely soon anyway :)

I do hope your speculation is true....I mean, there's been so much hype lately that they're really gonna have to do something.

Godzilla: Unleashed is the best (in my opinion) game ever for Godzilla! for the Wii not ps2 because the ps2 has similar graphics as save the earth, but with a new monster. Battra (that's how I look at it.)oh and by the way....I bought Godzilla unleashed in 2007 and I still have it!!! clean and intact! with booklet and everything!

my favorite alien monster is Orga! mainly because of the way he handles Godzilla in the movie.by that I mean he kinda hypnotizes Godzilla, he has those giant hands and, he has the beam. orga and spacegodzilla another worthy opponent.those are my favorite ones.

Godzilla 1954 is the best from everything! it has that ambience of dark and a scary tone. the eerie monster attack, the destruction, the cries and screams of the people as Godzilla leaves a trail of chaos....is just pure epic!

PG-13 is better because it stays original to the other Godzilla movies! some are PG but final wars got a PG-13 rating and it seemed cool. a rated R rating is ok but its going to sound too gory...sure we want something gory in this new one but not too gory or bloody that will make Godzilla too violent.so PG-13 sounds better ! :)

I remember watching Spiderman 2 in theaters.....after the movie ended me, my dad(tired & sleeping), and my brother didn't leave the room and got to watch it maybe 3 times instead......wonder if I could do that for GODZILLA

This isn't a very popular opinion, but I don't want to see Godzilla a lot. I mean, I still want a few major scenes featuring him, but I don't want to see him stomping on things, I want to experience it. Gareth Edwards himself has stated that we don't see Godzilla in his entirety very much throughout the movie, or maybe I dreamt that up. But it'd be more horrifying to watch the characters go though that hell, than to just watch Godzilla step on a building and assume nothing of it, when we can add a bit of horror by having our protagonists in that building, trying to escape. It's very difficult for me to describe what I mean, but I think you understand, don't you?

If it wasn't a controlled leak, then I'd say Gareth Edwards. There's just something about his smile that just screams "Damn right I did" on a video thumbnail on YouTube. If it was a controlled leak or whatever, well, it was someone at Warner Bros.

None of them for the first movie, but it'd be cool to see Destoroyah or Bagan in the last movie, which if Godzilla does good at the box office, would be a third or fourth movie. And maybe hint at their arrival several times throughout the (tri/quadri)logy

Opening night, 2D, DBOX seats. *orgasm face*, if DBOX has 3D seats on opening night, then I'd do that. But Godzilla is something that is DBOX worthy.

The score will definately be as dark if not darker... hopefully they do a rework of akira ifikube"s original theme

Guys, i understand its annoying that the quallity sucks, but lets be happy that were finnaly get something.

When are people going to learn to keep their phones sideways when recording a video... but from what I could make of it, hotd*mn, this is even better than the first full trailer for Prometheus. Especially the eerie sound from 2001: A Space Odyssey makes it look incredible.

Ill ge going to the first screening, but i think thats during the day, not night. And also here, well have to wait a few days to see the movie. *sigh* But i will see it, and in 3d! Sadly, we dont have IMAX.

Will definitely be going to see it opening night in 3D and I am taking that night off from work (I work third shift) just to go see it. I already have put in my vacation slip for it lol

It certainly looks that way doesn't it? I agree, it was leaked by someone within the Studio(s). Either as a controlled leak, or someone lost their job because of it - which is highly unlikely, since it would be a rather stupid risk to take just for a short clip. Better yet, before the video went "viral", it was on YouTube under the title "Fatman Trailer" for I think a week or two before actually getting pulled. Which further leads me to suspect that the video was a controlled leak by the Studio in an attempt to gain traction on the viral marketing campaign. Either way - it did its job and fans are raving about it. So, my hat's off to you, [i]Warner Bros.[/i] and [i]Legendary[/i]! Looks like Godzilla is going to kick ass! Can't wait.

Warner bros. pulled our YouTube upload of the video within 10 minutes, so that confirms the video's authenticity. Oh well, I'm not too bummed out that the video got pulled - it means the teaser is a mere weeks away from official release. Which is way more exciting!

Ok I can confirm a few legit things from this trailer in comparison to the finished one I saw at this years Comic Con panel. First is Bryan Cranston's character running down a hallway with people running the opposite direction. Second is Elizabeth Olsen's character hugging her son. Third is the attack on the airport with the explosion outside of the airport lobby window. The rest are presumably legit but weren't in the trailer I saw which had a monster, different Godzilla footage and a little more footage.

I'll definitely be seeing it opening night! In IMAX 2D for sure, and if it gets good reviews on the 3D I'll give it a shot in that format as well. Can't wait!

Seems legit. Although the sky diving scene seems off... the other scenes do seem to match what some described from the SDCC trailer. At least some parts, with Aaron Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston. Though I don't think this is the final product. Still interesting though!

@Taylour_Monster I also think Godzilla will be both a protagonist and antagonist, but I actually picture it the other way around from what you're describing. I think it would be more compelling if Godzilla starts as the threat and then ends up protecting Earth from the other monsters. As far as my idea for a tagline, how about something like... "Nature Will Reign"

I think the score will definitely be in the same style as the music used in the teaser. Desplat is really a perfect composer for this. While I immensely enjoy scores by composers like Hans Zimmer and Ramin Djawaldi, I really think Godzilla works best when a composer who is more of a "traditionalist" with subtle electronica in their scores is tasked with creating the music. Desplat has the talent and ambition to do something really special for Godzilla and I can't wait to get a first listen!

P.S. I like the Secret ending scene about a classic kaiju for the next movie

I'm liking what everyone here is saying, but I'm not sure about the final scene being Godzilla walking off into the ocean. I'm not saying that that shouldn't happen, i just think there will be at least some dialog after it, where the main character talk about how he could return. It is, after all, supposed to be a story about the people as well as about Godzilla. (or at least from what they've been telling us)

I don't think that they will be killing Godzilla in this, or at least not permanently, and I hope and pray I am right about that. However, I'm not against the oxygen destroyer, or at least something analogous to it. Some type of super destructive weapon we use to halt/deter Godzilla maybe? whatever it does doesn't matter to me very much, as long as it doesn't kill him, as long as it opens the door for Destroyah to appear in a sequel.
