Well I was about 3, and my dad took me to work with him and I saw a collection of Godzilla figures on a shelf and well I asked what those were and the guy who owned them let me have one. And since that day I still love Godzilla.

Every scene where the human characters try to act and tell a legit story. Haha Seriously tho what DAIKAIJU_DANIELLE said, I could've sworn I heard a wrestling bell go off.

i have thought of this, but  the muto from the comic con does not sound like a megaguirus once you really thinck about it

Keep in mind the kaiju at the beginning of Pacific Rim was as big as the bridge, like almost exactly. Godzilla is probably going to be at least twice his size so if that's the case the estimation still seems sound. But we'll really never know until they officially announce it.

@BCROCKETT94 I believe that Godzilla will be a legend among men already when the movie starts. I've heard rumors this film will continue the mythology of the original 1954 Godzilla so they'll most likely get his name from the legends of "the monster from Japan" or something of that nature. I just hope they say his name and not try what Man of Steel did with Superman's name, it's annoying as heck and saving it for the last 20 minutes made it seem kinda pointless. "Superman sir, that's what they're calling him". Like really?

Gigan could be pink and still be just as awesome. In all seriousness tho black Gigan is the superior version; he's better designed, more deadly, and happens to be the version of Gigan that made me love him. Plus the dude's got chainsaws.

I want Legendary to release as little information, regarding the plot, as they can. I want to be surprised and unaware of what will happen. I think that'll enhance a fan's experience. :) 

It happens pretty often to me too, mainly because I use mostly my tablet. That's because the site let you in for max. 30 minutes, then you are logged out due inactivity. Writing something is considered inactivity, as no page loads during writing a post. So, it took you more than 30 minutes to write that message, and the site automatically logged you out.S

Sometimes, for precaution, I copy everything, and if the incident happens, I just paste it over again.

Call me a hipster, but I prefer green Gigan. I have no legitimate reason, I just think he looks better than the 2004 Gigan. :)

No they will not.

Legendary has made it abundantly clear that no other Toho Kaiju will appear in this franchise. I know how much we all love KG, but he's not going to be in the film. Regardless of what the MUTO website says, the simple fact is that Legendary never purchased the rights to King Ghidorah. Each Toho monster has its own rights and licenses. Legendary only borrowed Godzilla's. Neither Ghidorah, nor any other Toho monsters will be appearing in this film.

A title that is a question is asking for an answer. Telling those with an answer that you don't want to hear to stay away is pointless and voids the title altogether.

You have terrible communication skills my friend.

If you wanted those who don't think it's Jr. to stay away, you should have made the title something like this: "If you think Godzilla from FW is Jr. from GvD, explain why." You could then ask in your opening description for those who don't think it's Jr. to not post because you want this to be a thread where those who suppor the Jr. theory can freely debate the topic with their different verisons of the theory.

As it stands, you're asking everyone to answer the title and then asking for only one kind of answer right afterwards. Hypocritical? I think so.

Also, this is a public thread on a public website. You have no right try and bar people from answering just because you might not like the answer. If you wanted only "yes" answers, you should have posted this thread on a different website where you have moderative control over who's posts can be seen and which ones can't. You'll never stop anyone from answering so long as everyone has access to the thread.

I don't think it's Jr, and there's nothing you can do to stop me from explaining why.

Godzilla from Final Wars, to me, is its own creature. The footage shown when Godzilla was on ice was nothing more than a nostalgic montage of stock footage. It was in no way there to imply that the previous Godzilla films took place during the Final Wars continuity. There is a difference, and stock footage does not always equal past events within that timeline. The 1970's Godzilla movies are proof of that with all the stock footage they used.

Also, the existence of Minilla and the Gotengo itself are evidence to the contrary. Minilla and Jr. do not exist in the same timeline nor continuity. The Gotengo is also known as the Atragon from the 1963 film of the same name. Gotengo is just the Western name for the ship outside of Japan. Judging by how young the american was during the films opening sequence (as shown in his flashback), the fight between Godzilla and the Gotengo must have taken place at least 30 years before the events of FW. The film was set in 2004, so when was that fight? At the latest, the 1970's.

So if you want to keep these kinds of comments away because you don't like them, communicate it more clearly next time.

Even with the toy description floating around, we have absolutely zero knowledge of how many other monsters are going to be in the film. For all we know, the military could fight and destroy dozens of them before the larger MUTOs appear and have to be killed off by Godzilla.

We know that the toys are giving us a minimum of two options, but that doesn't mean that more will not show up in the movie in flashbacks, short fight scenes in which they are destroyed, etc,.

Actually, they already released a t-shirt for this movie around the time of Comic Con this past summer. I bought one myself:

Given that this is a reboot and not a remake, I highly doubt they'll use the same island legend concept as used in the original Gojira film. They'll likely have something completely new for him, through a throwback to '54 Gojira would be nice in some way. There will likely be quite a few nods to that film throughout the movie, but as for Godzilla's name? It's up for grabs at this point. We know absolutely nothing about how his name will be revealed, and I actually prefer it that way. Let the mystery continue. Don't try to solve it right now. You'll take the fun out of it if you keep trying to guess the answers.

I have a friend on youtube/google+ that is making a game sort of like that. He's making it with Unity, and of course... It's going to be free and filled with monsters. He thinks he'll be done around summer of 2015.
