It matters doggiezilla....if you take a line from a piece of it about judgment day or destruction they could pull it off...but leviathan was a monster only God can kill...so that would be difficult to use...and Godzilla and bible don't mix in my opinion

I'm curious on this. So there will be a part of the film taking place in 1954. Need confirmation if it is the flashback or opening prologue of the movie.

@King - That's the release date of this movie in Japan.

Again...he wasn't effected at all...the original has always been called the heisei...I respect your theory but I can't understand how it works and I think it's just me trying to figure it out

i think the 1955 one is the heisei godzilla while the 1954 godzilla died from the oxygen destroyer. i dont think the hero godzilla apart of the same timeline. the 1955 godzilla who fought the anguiris of his timeline was changed because of the people from the future moving him from his place origin therefore anguiris and godzilla had never met and caused godzilla to become twice as big as he was before

You are right with the 1954 being the heisi and 1955 being the hero. while it's possible that the Showa and Heisi timelines are connected, they might also both be separate. I know it's not true but I like to sometimes try and see if all the movies would fit into one timeline. One thing is for sure though. G1954 and G1955 are both different Godzillas.

You read the description right...and that in 1955 that gojira was mentioned and heisei is gojira while the hero one is 1955

Again with the whole tone thing....you can make it fit and king Caesar is a protector...if you played your cards right it just might work...and I'm upset that people are letting what the tone should apparently be ruin every idea that comes along

the heisi and showa series exist seprettly so he wouldn't even exist

ive made discussions about destroyah=muto in the past, anyway, king ceaser is basically a living stone lion, while an interesting concept, i doubt it would fit the tone of the new series very well

Why can,t destroyah get a come back like come on maybe the new Godzilla could defeat the new destroyah if lengendary gets the right from Toho for toho monsters. i wonder if Gorosaurus can make a come back too?

I'm not sure...it would be great seeing him as a ally and enemy in any movie and he could probably face Godzilla alone....but how would he be introduced? What would he look like ? And how could you revolve a story around him? All are important questions...I would also like to see titanosaurus return

I mean the second fight with mothra those buzzsaw blades that return and decapitate him then the  kamikaze mothra blows him up 

a burning Godzilla didn,t cut off Gigan,s head Godzilla blowed it off with his ATOMIC BREATH!

But he cut his own head off...I like the old one because his intelligence made him deadly...not his bulk look or armory but I see what you mean
