As soon as I watched the new trailer with the same ending scene in which Godzilla is revealed from within the smoke just like the 2012 SDCC teaser I noticed Godzilla looked slightly different. It looks like they made him a little bit slimmer with the head rounded more. Much better in my opinion. What do you guys think? http://cathartisapien.tumblr.com/image/69773319342 here's the pic

This Godzilla looks like a cross between 1954, 90's, and 2000 with some modern features. Awesome

I like the new slimmer version of him. Yet I did laugh thinking that with the first version since he stopped attacking he only sat there eating whales making him fat.

Some people want to see the world burn... ... I'm one of those people.

The differences between the two images is quite noticeable and I personally love the slimmed neck. Watching the trailer in higher brightness and contrast, he's still got a fairly thick neck, but nothing like the 2012 teaser which is great. He's going to be one bulky brute in this new movie for sure.

If you haven't messed with the brightness and contrast settings in your video player while watching the trailer, do so. It really helps to bring Godzilla out of the darkness and into the picture.
