A creation of man....
The destruction of earth.....
GODZILLA
what about zilla from the rulers of earth comic?
Honestly, I like it, It shows just how much the radiation truly affected godzilla
@SHAZOTHEHEDGEHOG At what point does that look anything like zilla?
Godzilla Vs the Thing
Godzilla Vs the Sea Monster, Son of Godzilla, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla Vs Gigan, Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla, and Godzilla 1985 are all insanly expensive on DVD. My copies are all on VHS. I got them for about 3 bucks each except DAM which I had to shell out $30 for a USED VHS of it, no less. ;~; Hopefully one day they'll all be re-released and more available.
Sorry guys its broken! Here's the link for it. https://plus.google.com/app/basic/photos/106744469192702916684/album/5929965350320739745/5929965355775931394?cbp=32kzzn3n2m2k&sview=27&cid=5&soc-app=115&soc-platform=1
you can thank me later....... @"godzilla_himself @doggiezilla @desutoroia
@ZILLAHATER How would u know that? Have u seen the movie or what? But btw I love that idea I gotta admit, that would actually be just perfect if they approach godzillas appearance just like that
@CHRIS PICARD
Yeah, I was just trying to share what somebody elses opinion was, so more people will want to go see it. Even for those who already want to see it.
As if there was any doubt to begin with. ;)
Hahaha, well, that award always goes to 'Gigantis The Fire Monster'
There is no suitmation going on in this movie. Godzilla is fully CG. No human element in him at all unless they used motion capture and I don't believe they did. From what I understand they designed his movements from scratch.
Anyway, I have high hopes for the films special effects because they're being done by Jim Rygiel who was the guy who did effects for the Lord of the Rings trilogy. With a name and reputation like that behind the visual effects department, it'd better be good.
he is a zombie; a nuclear zombie
well, i would say that i was 7, and i watched the movies ( and i of course wasnt interested in most things)and it just looked so cool... and i stuck with loving them ever scince
I just came back after re-watching the original Gojira, not the Americanized mash-up, and I must say......Godzilla surely has evolved. However, almost all species rebound back to their roots when the right time has come, and this new Legendary Godzilla is no exception......I'm feeling quite depressed because of that movie, but in this particular case, it's a good thing, for we must all recognize the dread and horrors that we create for ourselves and our environments
I understand Godzilla is a dinosaur of some sort, but this drawing emphasizes the dinosaur trait too much. Allmost like Zilla. Although, it is a good drawing in itself.
I don't believe this will be part of any previous series at all. Since this is an AMERICAN Reboot, have you guys taken into consideration that this movie might be the start of a new series?
Zilla Dakilla why do you think Godzilla became a big bad monster im starting too think you hate Godzilla. Here,s a reason why Godzilla is not a big bad monster. 1 he became popluar over the years and also he,s the King of all monsters DUH! 2 Godzilla,s arm will not be useless in the movie it,s just a fan art those are not the offical Godzilla arms!
I admit it. I made all that stuff up about his origins. It just seemed a likely way that Godzilla came to be the big bad monster we all love.
I need DVD
zilla dakilla, your origins are ridiculously innacurate, your argument about his reason for short arms i good though. however, what i have seen from leaked toys and stuff is that his arms will not be useless
godzilla 2014 is like wtf
its a reboot, a new series
i like the effects because it looks so realistic and its the best ive seen.
okay he is not an iguana or an alien but i do agree he has had short arms before. the heisei godzilla had short arms
ok now here is my idea: Since its based on the story of Ford that millitary dude i think it could be that at the beginning there is some sort of war on a japanese island in the dark night, after defeating a few men Ford realizes that there is something big moving towards him, he cant se what it is because its to dark. After a few seconds we see a humongous foot crashing down just a few meters right behind Ford and you hear godzillas roar. Then a cut to the title sequence.
Just my idea but im sure his movie appearence will be 1000 times better then what i got in mind ^^
Why does Godzilla have abnormally short arms? He was born at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Japan shortly after the atomic bombs were dropped. He is the spawn of an irradiated marine iguana and an alien life form, hence his gigantic awesomeness. He doesn't need long arms. His jaws and tail do all the work. He's an expert at stomping too.
@XXSABERBLACKCROW Thanks for the update bro, I was going to have a heart attack already lol
Don.t worry King Godzilla the 2014 Godzilla will have 4 toes the prototype Desgins that was shown at the encounter had four toes
Oh God I hope Godzilla 2014 does not have 3 toes.
The 2014 Godzilla kinda looks like a chicken and a dino no fence but still funny
@XXSABERBLACKCROW
It is just fan art, so you cant judge it in the same way. But i do see what you mean, the arms look hillarious :)
there is something wrong with the 2014 Godzilla arms they look like Kinda broken and there not the same as the other godzilla.s
I loved the effects. They did exactly what i hoped for; Show how big Godzilla is. Thats Godzilla`s marketing ability is his size. Unfortunally, we havent seen enough. The encounter video was just a quick thing done, and therefore he didnt show off that much personallity. He did however look great. The two shots in the trailer didnt help much;
The first shot was clouded, and the second shot was also created for a concept trailer, and later edited to fit with the movie cinematography.
The sets look great. The MUTO creature blends perfectly with the train-set, which wasnt CGI. Its great.
look at all the dead bodies by the wrecked train, theres no way this is going to get a PG rating. i also dont think theres any way this movie is going to be rated R. you can pretty much count on it being PG13
where is zillahater?
If its as good as it probably is, ill consider it a part of the millenium series. And yes;
He is american, he is the legendary version, bla bla bla, my name is erny, (No offense to all Erny`es out there)
But if Zilla had been good, i would have considered him the start of the millenium series. And thats why i just consider this thing as just another Millenium reboot.
@DURATOK That size comparison isn't even close to being accurate. 150 meters isn't over twice as tall as 100 meters. And how big Godzilla looks compared to that building in the trailer means nothing, since the film makers obviously care nothing about being completely accurate in how big he is relative to other things, and we don't know if that building really is the one everybody thinks it is anyways. The fact that the director has outright stated that the new Godzilla will only be barely taller than previous incarnations trumps any building height comparisons the fans can come up with.
No. There is no bridge between this Godzilla and the previous Toho Godzilla movies at all really. Sure, its a NEW VERSION of TOHOS GODZILLA. But not that same thing. Just as Batman from The Dark Knight isnt connected to the Batman from the comics. So this can just be considered the "Legendary" series. It is its own universe.
