Now i no Edward said he,s going too follow or kinda follow the same path that the 1954 Godzilla did. so it,s possible that Edwards wants too make Godzilla,s back plates a little smaller like the 1954 Godzilla had here,s an Example.
Now as you see The 1954 Backplates was small then the other Godzilla,s now for the 2014 Godzilla
Now you see that the new Godzilla has the same size as the 1954 did or close to the 1954
so My guess is that the new Godzilla will have short backplates but maybe the blackplates might change in a squeal but what you do you think? do you think that the new Godzilla,s backplates are small?

Regardless, a prototype means it's not the finished product. I will take the trailer as a proof of fact over a prototype model any day.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-04-2014 12:22 AMMy favorite thing about the new back plates on G-2014 is the fact that they look VERY mangled and imperfect. The symmetry of the 80's-90's Godzilla looked cool, but it lacked that original "warped" and "natural" feel that the '54 Godzilla's did.
I personally think they look great, and I'm VERY hard to please as a hardcore G-fan.
