Godzilla to be killed in the film?

Dude there,s no information if Godzilla will die in the new movie but my guess is he is not going too die duh too his squeal Godzilla vs hedorah 2

@SABERBLACKCROW, not being rude here, but Godzilla vs Hedorah 2 has NOTHING to do with THIS Godzilla movie. At all. Thats a Toho movie and this is a Legendary/Warner Bros movie. At this point, we do not know if there will be a sequal to this movie. We do not know whether Godzilla will die or not. The only thing I can link to Godzilla surviving is How Gareth Edwards repeatedly stated how Godzilla represents the force of nature and how man cannot beat nature. But to answer the post, I personally would like to see him survive, and how the power of humans cannot defeat Godzilla in the end. If he is to die, do it in a great way.

I have been following this site for a year, so I know about the article, but Banno said he is planning on on, Toho never said anything about doing it.

Not a single article about Godzilla dying is from a credible or reliable source. They should not be taken seriously, ever.

in the first film he was only killed off because no sequel was expected. for this film, mankind is supposed to lose, Godzilla being killed would not be consistent with this.

Why and who says mankind is supposed to lose? Why do people keep pulling information out of thin air? Nothing has been said that supports either theory of Godzilla dying or not. And no one has said that mankind is, "supposed to lose."

It would be pretty difficult to do a sequel if the title character is dead...

I've heard the phrase "rebooting the franchise" a number of times, which would mean more than one movie. Gareth Edwards is on record about wanting to do a "Destroy All Monsters" type of sequel...

I'm sure the level of success this movie achieves will dictate any future moves.

I honestly don't think Toho would even allow producers of an American remake of the REAL Godzilla to kill him

Godzilla will never die to the army because godzilla is too Strong for the armies little tanks and battle cars and the tiny jets but if they add another monster like mothra 3
