The best roar ever.

The names are cool.

This is probably more of a promotional tool. I'm sure his roar will be this long at some parts of the movie, but remember, hey may have a shorter roar to. His roars vary. Either way I love how it reminds me of the original Gojira.

Godzilla will return to Walmart and all, this is going to be a big movie so obviously of course it is ;)

as BIGBY said there is a strange engine noise mixed in with the roar, tomorrow we will know what that sound is.

What the dialogue really confirms is that the leaked script from a month or two back was probably real... It's right in line with the stuff in it.

It looks cool but I think I will wait for the official one. Indonesia, well, not sure if it is official. Did you see or get the one Hot Topic had? It was available during the last Comic Con at the store. Thanks for the heads up though.

i was thinking that maybe it could be monarch or the dude who made up the organization M.U.T.O and i think when he says somthing about the stone age that no one is going to live and who ever put the tanzitt earthquake i think since people think they are underground monsters and i was watching a video and i saw a beatle laying a egg but in poop and so i thought that the mutos are this type of beatles and layed thier eggs and one baby muto ate its wat out of the poop and hit so hard and made a magnetiude 7.8 earthquake and i thought it would be cool to share that.

It sounds a bit like a whale to me, which is good since he is aquatic. In the first trailer it shows him roaring and this is part of it :D

i think the part in the trailer where we see a door closing on a woman and Bryan Cranston looking on forlorn...that's the event he's talking about (15 years ago). There was obviously an attack that day by either Godzilla or Muto's, or both, which Cranston was witness to. The woman (it's his wife isn't it?) probably died that day - she looks like she's being sealed inside - and that's why he's so upset in the audio clip. He's one of few people who truly knows the extent of the threat out there and he's frustrated because they're covering it up as opposed to addressing it. I can already see the political and environmental metaphors creeping in :)

I doubt the MUTO organization made him, I still think he has his original origins or something very close. BUT I do think the MUTO organization has been hiding him from the public. Why you say? Maybe because they want to use something from him (G-Cells maybe) to create their own weapon for war purposes against other nations, maybe to get a contract from the US Government or just because the MUTO owner/boss man is just an evil person who wants to take the world. 

Now when Bryan says "It's gonna send us back to the stone age, you have no idea whats coming" I think he actually seen a G attack first hand or the aftermath of one and realized that theres nothing that we as humans can do. Maybe a warning to the Muto organization that they're fooling with Godzilla and they're gonna lose, whether it be from their own creation using G-Cells or Godzilla himself.

I dont think that Binoche dies in 60s..they style of clothing and uniforms in the scene between her and Cranston kind of looking recent. Plus, I dont think theres overgrowth in any of the stills. I do agree that there will be a flashback part to the movie, dont think itll be major. Even Cranston himself said in an interview that his character was called out to research something and as he catches onto what it might be, all hell breaks loose. I doubt theyd have two back stories that lead to current events in the movie. I can understand something happening in the 50s or 60s, then current times 

I thought the smae thing simply because of the duration of the roar. It could easily be Godzilla firing his atomic breath.

Legendary's official website has the same thing. I just checked. I'd rather not rely on facebook or youtube, but thankfully Legendary's official website confirms it as well.

i said the same thing there on the awaken the truth topic,godzilla himself i am so glad that i pre ordered it when i did :)

they could have made him, or they could just be hiding godzilla. maybe well learn more in the trailer. im just curious as to how this might tie in with Godzilla: awakening, i mean it invilves past events and the word awaken is present here...

Holy cow... this is incredible.  Bryan Cranston is an incredible actor.  Listen to the sadness in his voice... this is fifteen years after he lost his wife, and he's trying to find the truth.  Its heartbraking.  It seems that someone is covering up the truth.  This finally solves the mystery of the overgrown Japanese village set photos... fifteen years have passed since an accident at a nuclear plant that killed Brody's wife, and now its about to happen again, and only he knows what is coming.

Is it February 25th, 1:00 PM Eastern standard time yet?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Thanks Bigby, but unfortunately where i'm at there's a sonic wall and the only way I can get soundclips and videos is if someone emails them to me it's messed up I know lol.  So if anyone can email me the clip that'd be awesome!

i am starting to believe that godzilla's birth was caused by this MUTO organization not 100% so sure about this but listen to that speech again and i think that he is talking to this mysterious monarch.

Wow, you have a great point there!  When I heard the roar, it seemed awfully long and somewhat artificial in the middle.  I wondered what was going on, and this seems like a great explanation!  You can even hear a "woosh"in the background that cuts out when the "oooonnk" starts that couldbe his breath firing!

he did say that "this thing will put us back into the stone age" so i have to say that he is talking about godzilla i mean 350 feet, armoured hide, atomic breath. what do you think will stop him? lol

it seems that not only does this film take place in the 50's but also has something that happened 15 years before the current events of the movie, it could be the 'janjira incident' and godzilla first or second attack

mmmm.... you know something you might be right about that needless to say i really cant wait for this movie now i really love the empire magazine cover it reminds me so much of the original 1954 design but it is upgraded a whole lot i can say without a shadow of a doubt now that this design is my 2nd favorite unless i see more of him :)

I did think it sounded quite long to be a roar... but then he does have huge lungs.

it is the new roar i only say this because you can hear the ooonnnnkkkk effect to it at the end.

I just had a thought, if the roar and audioclip has us this excited/scared/pump/etc, then how will our reaction be when the trailer comes out? My guess, we will wish the movie would hit theaters the next day.
