Personally I am not impressed. You are right saying the visual effects are really good ,and the Craston speech is kinda appropriate for the level of destruction and all the events surrounding the film, but I'm feel disappointed because still it isn't reveal too muc. They used many scenes from the previous ones and it didn't reveal too much of Godzilla or the Mutos. The closing scene of the bunker is a nice one in context, but for me it cannot give a full appreciation of Godzilla face due he was far away and the perspective is in first person looking upwards; it is comprehensible due the perspective, but still a bad shot; I would preferred something like the scene when Godzilla roars after defeating Orga in G 2000 film, giving more details about his look
It was awesome, I love how they state that the nuclear tests didn't create him but they were trying to destroy him. Maybe the king will get more respect now.

Um, I thought it was going to be released at eleven. And if it's just that it isn't eleven in our time zone, then why are there no updates to the facebook page, or legendary, or wherever else about the trailer arriving in forty minutes? I'm a bit confused. Also because it's not forty minutes until one here in Arkansas. It's forty minutes until TWELVE.

And I agree with Bombastic, don't think we need too much more revealed of Godzilla. There are more than enough pics of him to know that he is truely epic.
I really hope they show all of Godzilla. and at least one of the mutos. it would also be cool to see his atomic breath, or at least some fighting. either way, I'm freaking pumped!

Honestly i think it would be cool if they could hold the full reveal of godzilla until the Movie, like with Super 8. You had sillouettes and glimpses f what the monster looked like but in the end it showed him so i liked it that way.

That trailer really do impress people, dont it?
Most of my friends havent seen any Godzilla films and have never shown any interest, but ALL of them said they loved the trailer. I overheard my students talk about the trailer, and they were also positive.
That trailer seemed t have changed alot of people from disliking the idea to getting interested at least.
Well, im sure Godzilla WONT be in the trailer, its not like the movie is called Godzilla.
But enough with the sarcasm. There will be Godzilla, its necessary. And im sure we get a bit MUTO to. But for me, i want some dialogue from this "character-driven movie". I know we have heard a line from Cranston, but i want some more.

I think that they should show a bit of everything of course, don't completely show Godzilla yet (although I wouldn't be complaining if they did), I would be interested to see if they showed any of the Mutos, and they'll most defnitely show the human characters, especially Bryan Cranstons.
You don't want them to show godzilla? There will be so much merchandise though, and they already showed around half of him in the first trailer...

I cant find a single person that I know who is willing to come see this movie with me trailer or not lol. I'll be seeing it alone at the midnight release and probably drag my GF to the IMAX on friday.
It has to be Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla because it gave us two Godzillas for the price of one (At least for the most part)
It has not happened to me, but I can say that this is preety funny considering that he did not expect what was coming from the trailer.
