I reread the scans from that magazine, and it seems to me he was talking specifically about the monster that was attacking Godzilla in the scene Empire was watching be filmed.  Also, the flying monster doesn't look white to me, especially in that top pic.  Not that color matters, seeing as Godzilla isn't the same exact color, either, and now (according to the toys) has a much lighter colored underbelly.  Not saying it is definite he is in the movie, just that what you said doesn't completely refute it.  Besides, a man can dream, can't he.  :-D

I wrote about it in my 'Deluxe Destruction Pack MUTO is Eight-legged MUTO' post. You guys need to check it out. It proves that this isn't the winged one like I and a lot of other people thought. Please tell me what you think about it on this article so I can know what you guys think.

I haven't looks at the toy yet. At least not in detail, I saw the thumbnail pic of it, and the little black smudge on my tv looked cool!  People don't like that black smudge? Well phooey on them! 

ok, so this is the MUTO whose leg we see slam down on the ground.

The flying MUTO, in an article linked in another thread, looked like a cross between a moth and a fly. So that's clearly not this.

Then there is the other big, Godzilla-like kaiju hinted at.

The centipede-type kaiju from the convention teaser is still missing. It's looking more and more like he's not in the film. I just don't see how you can fit 5 different monsters in this film...

Yes, I was 6 years old when I saw it, it was AMC's Monsterfest (yeah, remember that?) and I knew nothing about this movie.  watched the whole thing, cheering Godzilla on through til the end, ah, yes, the end, that was the catch.  I remember when he melted down, I looked at my mom like, "WHAT?!"  And yes I did cry.  I still get misty-eyed today.

That boat looks interesting...

You're right about the 1998 ending. Seemed pretty depressing to me. As I've stated before, I like the 1998 movie, but I thought the end was a little sad.

But seriously, I did cry when I was a kid during that part. Even now it kind of chokes me up.

Comparing against to Pacific Rim last year might be a good gauge...

weak bro, you guys havent felt the pain of the 1998 ending, now THAT made me cry, way sadder then Godzilla vs Destroyer. 98 had so much emotion, damn

I guess I was just older when I finally saw Godzilla vs. Destroyah. It's a great scene, but it never choked me up.

This scene made me tear up,but its one of my favorite godzilla scenes ever. 

I am not going to lie but when I was really young I cried about 4 times of how deep this movie gets, Godzilla Jr. dies, Godzilla dies, man it's just sad, but it's a great movie. I used to have but then the dvd got scratched, but it doesn't mean I can't watch it on youtube. Yeah I'm getting off topic, but I'll say, yes I have cryed when I watched GvD. 

i still cry now, i think everyone does when they watch the ending (i didn't get to watch the movie till is was older.

also i'd like to mention that pretty much this movie is confrimed not to be a remake, as there are people who think that.

International posters typically differ from domestic posters. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a variation of the international poster and the official poster where you live.

I imagine we'll get one or two more trailers. Three main trailer releases is status quo for most blockbusters. Depending on the hype train it might be more at last minute.

update 1: specualtion- the bones of a monster is a godzilla or the 54 godzilla (i still think it looks like a snake/long monster skeloten)

speculation- this movie is a sequel to Gojira 1954 (i'm not against this but... hasen't that been done enough times by toho)

(most likely) confrimed- Ken Wantanabe's character known as Dr. daisuke serizawa is only going to be a reference to 1954 serizawa (that would be a smart move, then it doesn't make the movie look like a re-make)

Speculation that might be confirmed- godzilla's origin will be a mystery, while he has nearly the same premise of his arrival like 1954 gojira the diffrence is that 1. he doesn't attack tokyo and 2. (the speculation part) he dissapeared for 44 or 60 years (possibly went back to sleep)

DEFINATLY CONFIRMED- no godzilla laying eggs that produce baby godzookies  (that's what i called the baby zillas as a kid) that can also lay eggs at birth (thats what worm guy says when he warns the people of the 'danger'

Confirmed: gozilla's fighting style resembles that of bears, komodo dragons and walruses

the "fight for humanity as Godzilla" is reason why i think those flares they keep shooting at godzilla and that we keep seeing as a consistant image in posters etc is becuase the humans are luring him to the enemy,Godzilla isnt totally evil. In the trailer when they shoot the flares at godzilla, i mean youd expect him to blast whoever is in that area, instead he keeps walking towards the flares

thank god you didn't post the images

so wait the last one is the international poster, like what certain countires or every country outside the US, but still it is nice to know what each poster is, i like how 'teaser poster 2' is a teaser poster and not named the official poster while the poster that coincided with the main trailer is the offical poster, really a poster (my opinion) is just as good (sometimes better) than a trailer, also i do belive that there is no more trailer excpet for TV spots and the banner posters and bus posters that will come as part of the marketing in the next 2 months (seriously it is now 2 months and a week till the movie, time really does fly by fast)

i haven't bothered looking at the MUTO toy but i'm glad they haven't released/leaked a detailed look of the new monsters, also please you guys don't post a detailed muto toy if they show up after the embargo ends after next week PLEASE!, if not, then don't post a picture instead just show the link to the photo

Perhaps they could his son as a reason to not use the Oxygen Destroyer on Godzilla. That is if they have the Oxygen Destroyer in this movie.

The design looks really cool i like the 4 legs at the front of the body,looks like a red/black praying mantis.

Cuz at least we're not getting a Godzilla movie where he wont fight no monsters, so we should all be excited

Ikr haha, Godzilla's fighting another giant monster so we should all be happy, cuz u know, just as long as there's another giant monster that Godzilla's fighting, then i might not care as much of what the monster looks like
