I hope, "is this the end of the world?...not on Godzilla's watch!..." is the tagline for the next film.

We don't even know the specific origin of Godzilla in the new film. It's a bit presumptuous to assume Godzillasaurus would be referenced at all. (And I personally hope it doesn't.)

I can also guarantee that they mention Godzilla by name:

Not that I disagree, but looking at the sticked topics, which would you take this to? Actual question, just interested.

Dang haha I opened up a can of worms with that one. Didn't know how disliked Bagan was. I personally think he seems like an awesome monster but I'm sure legendary will come up with some amazing monsters!

Let's just hope they don't do a pacific rim crossover. 

Absolutely incredible. I don't understand how people can draw like this, its like magic to me.

I said monsters baised off the originals. We could have a flying monster that resembles Rodan but that doesn't mean it is Rodan.

Junkerde, Gigan and Fai pretty much all nailed it. He's an overrated creation that was never considered good enough for a movie. So they put him in a video game. Why would a studio, rebooting the Godzilla franchise and making money, bother with a monster A) most people have never heard of and B) was a scrapped idea in Toho's own Godzilla series?

I truly hope Bagan is never seen or heard of in any form ever again.

the leaked script was before the 2nd trailer, it WAS factual, the evidence is there, it got the nuclear bombings in 1954 against godzilla right, it got the skeleton they find right, they were too accurate to be fake, too specific. you know yes things can be changed but you cant change the fact those things were proven right, none of which we even KNEW before the trailer came out, only the few people who read that script

I hope they do.  And really, one of the only good things that came from the '98 version is the idea of someone misinterpreting a Japanese man saying Gojira to come up with Godzilla.  Wouldn't mind them repeating that, as that's about the only way it would make sense.  Oh, and I hope someone says, "Godzilla suck d*ck."

This is my messed up theory.

First, I believe that the Godzilla 2000 (male) knocked up Zilla 1998 (female) and had a child. This child is now Godzilla 2014. (This is due to the new Godzilla having traits from both Godzillas in my opinion) 

Second, the Muto is what i believe to be the child of Gigan (male) and Cloverfield (female). (This is also due to them having similar traits) 

What do you think of my Messed up theory? Do you believe that Godzilla 2014 and the Muto depicted above share traits from the creatures that I listed out? Do you think the creatures I listed out where used as inspiration for G-14 or Muto? If not, then what do you believe happened? If you agree or disagree then tell me why.

P.S. I hate it when people beat down on Zilla and this is why. I believe that the Japanese Godzilla is the king of all monsters, yet I also believe that Zilla was a great creature design and concept, and thus should not be brought down. It is in my opinion that Zilla is female and that the Godzilla is male. (I believe her to be female because only female reptiles have the ability to asexually reproduce and sexually reproduce) Thus I call her the queen of all monsters. If you agree or disagree please tell me why.

Please do not underestimate how much credibility his presence is giving to this film.

The non-blurry screenshot of that scene does not look that much like a monster.

Hey can they not call it Godzilla? According to the director, the people in the world have been watching Godzilla movies from Toho for 60 years.

Maybe his name will come from a legend of some sort like it did in the first film. In the original they called him Godzilla because he was a deity of some sort to the people on Oto island and they called it Godzilla. Which makes me wonder if Oto island will come into play in this film. 

I hope not because he is such a good actor.

Considering it aired during the Oscars i'd say they are aiming for a large audience.

Bagan is the king of overrated. I hope he never gets a movie, but as far as getting his own Legendary movie that seems even more unlikely.
