Oto island/1954 sequence in the new movie.

According to Empire magazine there will be a pre-title sequence that takes place in 1954. So what can we expect from that scene? Since it is a pre-title sequence during 1954 it will most likely set up some back story for the film. I think it will either be about a nuclear test creating Godzilla or something to do with the original legend from the 1954 movie. Will Oto island come into play here? Because in the original film Oto island was where they discovered his name according to a legend/ritual on the island. So what are your thoughts on this?

airplanes ready to bomb godzilla with a nuke. damn it's hard to speculate when you've read the leaked script anyway.

True, but I personally doubt the leaked script. It doesn't seem factual to me at this point. As for Oto Island, we can't be sure.

the leaked script was before the 2nd trailer, it WAS factual, the evidence is there, it got the nuclear bombings in 1954 against godzilla right, it got the skeleton they find right, they were too accurate to be fake, too specific. you know yes things can be changed but you cant change the fact those things were proven right, none of which we even KNEW before the trailer came out, only the few people who read that script
