Yeah, i dont get it either.

The monster is awesome. This creature is everything i wanted. I see no Cloverfield connection. Seriously. It is VERY VERY vague.

To be honest, I don't hate the design but I am just a little disappointed. I don't like that fact that it looks like Cloverfield. Why does it have those 2 little arms on it's waist exactly like Clover. It looks like a copy. But apart from that I thnk it will be cool.

I don't think he will die. He lost his wife 15 years ago so it would be unfair if he died as well.

I agree, it looks A LOT like clover. If only it didn't have those 2 little arms in the mid section you wouldn't really notice but I can't help but think that this new monster is a rip off from Cloverfield. Anyway, we haven't actually seen what the on-screen design is like so yeah.

Can I say I dislike the overwhelming amount of people that are saying this WILL be the best Godzilla ever without knowing much about it? I mean there's a chance, but there are a lot of people that are under the impression it's an absolute fact that this film will trump all prior installments. 

Nothing to say about the movie as I still know almost nothing about it.

Sounds...fun. A dangerous topic to do, but fun. Now remember, i cant wait for this movie. And these points are simply very small nitpicking points. But i have to nitpick, or i wont have anything to complain about yet.

Lets see.

1: Like you said, that BWOOOOOM sound is a bit overused.

2: Im not overly thrilled about Godzilla`s spikes. Could have been a bit better.

3:...Um, the...Or the...Yeah i got nothing XD

I actually like this. It runs the risk of treading on thin ice, but your rules are pretty clear. It's a good "venting" thread.

That said I can't think of anything about this movie that stirs as powerful of a negative emotion as "hate".

But i like this SOB! It's about time Godzilla had a multi armed foe! I mean think about it, the fight could be like Eva Unit 01 vs Bardiel, when Bardiel tries to choke Eva 01 with its four arms? This guy could totally attempt to do that to Godzilla and it would look badass!

your biollante theory, you know what okay lets go WAY OFF THE HOOK into IMAGINE LAND because this is the dumbest most outlandish theory you'll hear, so yes if it sounds shitty it is, im not pressing this at all, its more like a what if.

so yeah i mean the first impression of the MUTO monster, you know it looks so alien, it has this humanistic look to it. SPOILER PLOT POINTS BELOW DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANNA BE SPOILED but hear me out on my foolish theory. So Cranston's wife dies right? Yeah, to make a long story short, lets turn this movie even darker, they use her dead body as a test subject, trying to replicate the human cells with muto cells, scientific ignorance.

That huge humanoid-like aliem Muto is born, it could be a huge plot twist. But this theory is so stupid I didnt even know if i wanted to type it, well there you have it this is just out there, again i guess its more of a WHAT IF they went more scifi, but i doubt this will happen.

not cry but actually felt a bit disturbed. I mean this is my hero and he died in an incredibly graphic way. We watch as the skin melts off his face continueing until his flesh just drops from his bones. Godzilla's reaction to not being able to revive Junior was pretty strong though.

Had I been more invested in the film it would probably be more emotional for me but out of the entire franchise Destroyah is one of my least favorites. Its nowhere near as bad as Space Godzilla or Mothra 1992 but its up there.

Yeahh monsters the size of idk 50 to 80 feet are always portrayed as being scary or terrifying in movies.  Cuz look at Monsters and War of the Worlds, even though I havent seen Monsters yet, I know its suppose to portray the monsters as scary and I do believe the Mutos will be exactly like those

we'll see, weve been hearing reports of a muto that is significantly smaller than godzilla, it could be that one, because again it is the thing that attacked the train and was described in the comic con 2013 presentation as "godzilla towers over it"

Although it does resemble a footprint, I'm gonna have to say no I don't think it is.  The Mutos as well as Godzilla are of immense size and mass, the imprint would be a lot deeper for either's footprints.

As of right now no one really knows for sure. It's very possible Kraken Releasing has the rights to them, but are saving them for a later date. There aren't many insider sources for Kraken Releasing since its a brand new division of another home video distributor. (Though which one escapes me at the moment.)

Personally, I think they might have Son of Godzilla and Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla as we speak. But we won't know for sure until an announcement hits. Otherwise, if the rights are just in free-flow right now, anyone could pick them up.

3rd instalment should have an ending like godzilla vs destroyah: where we think he died then all we hear is growling then out of the mist a sillouhette. kinda like the teaser, but full body.
