After a decent amount of character buildup, he should die in the right way. It would give a little more depth to the movie.

No, because he will be a huge draw for any sequels.

Please do not underestimate how much credibility his presence is giving to this film.

Father figures in disaster movies have a habit of sacrifing themselves to save their kids (a la Armageddon,Posieidon etc) But Cranston is the one who knocks at Death's Door Dammit!

I don't think he will die. He lost his wife 15 years ago so it would be unfair if he died as well.

Nah, id be fine either way. I mean, if it works for the story, id be fine with him living or dead.

2 things i have to say about this.

1) no because breaking bad fans are gonn watch bcauase of him.

the second anyone else notice he's been a dad in all his bigger roles.
