I've got to get this. Does anybody know where it was bought or who is selling them?
I so want the last one, but in English. It would be so cool hanging up in my room.
yeah even this movie suffrered what made the heisei series quite bad as pointed out in that thread about the heiesi series flaws after biollante
@GodzillaFan1995 I mean... in a sense, yeah. I'm pretty sure keeping the cuts there was a concious decision by the SFX department, because the aesthetic look is too strong to simply forget about. I think it probably came down to, "lets keep it 'cause it looks cool" and they decided to run with it even though it creates a certain plothole. It's not a big deal. I admit the cuts make him look a little more worn down in addition to the orange patches.
^We can discuss that over personal messages. Thanks for your concern.
maybe the reson he still had cuts was laziness of the SFX department, after all there is no explaination, it's just fan theories
^Interestingly, Godzilla's G-Cells didn't heal him after the horn attack. The cuts were still there during the fight. Some fans think Destroyah's micro-oxygen kept his cells from healing. Others think that Godzilla's regenerative abilities were weakening since he was so close to death.
We'll never know since the movie doesn't bother to really give any hints or clues about it. The horn katana really did come out of nowhere, like you said. It was cool though.
I can see them now,but im new here and im just asking,is my kaijew name offensive at all because its just a joke and i dont want people to think im a asshole, but anyway the posters look great and i cant wait till the movie comes out!
i was born in 1995, my first movie with godzilla's name if Godzilla 1998 on vhs and then Ebirah:horror of the deep (known as godzilla vs the sea monster in the US) i think my first big godzilla movie was GvsKG 1991, (japanes version) on youtube
I love how some fans don't think Godzilla should have ever had a 'child stage'-- because Godzillas just hatch/are born as full grown adults.
Personally I'm not big on the idea of more than one Godzilla existing in the same time frame, just because it devalues Godzilla's worth.
Gareth Edwards confirmed in the new Empire Magazine that Mutos are NOT classic Toho monsters.
We can also use our common sense. Why would they change Rodan's color? You can clearly see in one scene that the flying Muto is white.
The posters should be visible now, but if not let me know.
Three of the posters aren't showing, but the rest of posters are awsome! this movie is gonna be awsome and i can't wait!
Nice list. I would imagine the toy atomic breath is canon. Don't know why they would change it from what's in the movie. I also think those were MUTO eggs wrapped around the warhead, so it does seem they feed off of nuclear power.
@ Duratok
I have heard this over and over, but is there an actual link you can post where this is confirmed to not be true?
Nah. I could see him being in one of the sequels, though. It would be cool if maybe humans found and raised G Jr. Then, he gets older/larger and meets up with his dad, but still has that connection to those who raised him. Maybe he gets hurt by a monster trying to save the humans, and the Big G gets pissed and has to kick some butt. In a sense, Godzilla is forced to reluctantly save humanity, instead of destroy it, because his son cares about them.
every time i watch GvsD, i never get the impression that destroyah was kicking godzilla's ass, if anything godzilla looks like he is annilating destroyah, the only really effective weapon destroyah had was the horn katana but why did he even have that, how does that got to do with micro oxygen and the oxygen destroyer
I don't think anyone should be lining up to tell you their age, there are people of all ages on this site that are welcomed, the only real requirement is your love of Godzilla. And ironically you mention making immature, pointless discussion so you make a pointless discussion. Yeah, locked!
BTW im new...So if my name is offensive to any of you guys, its just a joke not to be offensive or anything:D
It's definitely easy to make a young Godzilla in this movie, but if you're talking about Minya/Minilla/Godzooki, then I hope it stays far, far away.
Hi, and welcome to the forums!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the flying muto isn't Rodan. Godzilla has been confirmed as the only Toho-IP monster in this movie. I wouldn't be surprised if elements of it were an homage to Rodan, though!
Im pretty sure theres just one, beacause gareth edwards said this a realistic movie but anything could happen in the sequel.
Forgot to add. If anyone else has an ideas or requests to post them and I'll try to make one :)
This is clearly not the flying muto, because it has a tail this doesn't.And if you look closely you can see that this has eight leggs.
If it doesn't work out, let me know and I'll do it for you.
Mutozilla,
We have an excellent topic, recently started by another member, that goes over confirmed and unconfirmed information and facts right here:

Please feel free to share those same thoughts there.

Thanks for the welcome.
And, I did try that, but when I hit start discussion, it just said I needed to log in, again, even though I already was. Then, when I logged in again, it just said "error:you are already logged in." Anyway, I'll try and edit it, now, and see if it works.
Welcome to the forums.
There's a button located beneath "format" that's the "Insert/edit image" option. Once you click it a small window will pop up where you can paste the image link in and hit ok. The image will appear in your post.
Also, quick question. I kept trying to post with the actual images in the OP. Anybody have a clue why it wouldn't let me post it like that?
Not bad, but as a recording arts major with sound design experience, I think you can do better.
There is some nasty distortion at the end of the roar that I think you can get rid of as well as maybe cleaning up the sound in general. It's a little muddy right now.
Good effort though, but I think you have the capability to make it even better!
Definitely nice drawings. I draw stick people so drawing a monster is out of the question.
However, we have a new view of what the winged Muto will look like thanks to pictures on the back of a Godzilla destruction pack toy. The winged Muto has skin between the two front legs and its hind legs, almost like a bat, but it has a diamond shaped head that is very thick and conneted to its body with almost no neck. It's an interesting design, and though these sketches are good they are fairly off the mark.
Still well done though, no arguments.
We do discourage tons of repeat posts like let's say the Snickers ad, but that would only get locked. Also, if you are new and have under a certain number of posts they sit in waiting to be approved by staff, we had to do that because of spammers. If it didn't get posted its because you are still under the limit and staff simply hasn't gotten around to approving it yet, it has nothing to do with the content of the post, unless of course it's the 20th post about the Snickers ad. XD
The basic rules for posting are: 1-Have a proper title that reflects the content of the post. 2-Be respectful of others when posting, responding in threads. 3- try not repeat post simple things like the Snickers ad. XD
I keep missing the new posts here by a week or so...
Anyway, I still think the pairing Destroyah against Godzilla is a weak association to the weapon itself. The plot point of characters pitting one monster against another goes all the way back to King Kong vs. Godzilla-- it has more association with that movie in hindsight than it does with the original film.
I do agree the "greatest foe" might be up for debate. The irony is I would pick any of those monsters you listed over Destroyah for iconic purposes.
Wow, this is superb work! This is the clearest view of the Muto thus far!
It was more than 40 years ago, but Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster seems to rattle around my brain as the first. Back in the 70's Godzilla was on every Saturday morning.
