nope so many people here have had to prove time after time that all of these monsters are new expect godzilla he is the only toho kaiju in this film.

@Garyzilla, no matter how much you want it to be Rodan, it is not going to be Rodan.
Its got to be the head biting down on the train, you can see what looks like the eye (I might be wrong) and the membrane between the jaws. You see the same sort of mouth and head shape when you look at those chibi figures.

ill be honest with you i am the type of artist that has to look at things a draw it the way i see it. there is no way i can draw things out of my own imagination its just not possible trust me i have tryed. and yeah you are right those three artists you just named are the three main guys that i do my drawings of their own creations. i love their work really talented as well :)
Are you just reposting what I've said today in 3 other posts? Geez Louise. Besides you left out the best evidence...the grey wing and claw that seems to have something to do with the crashing chopper in 2nd trailer. Remember what color Mr. Hankey changed to when he died? Maybe this is an "old" Rodan... :-D

I don't know anyone stupid enough to think the flying Muto is still Rodan. Or that there will be other Toho monsters in this film. What would be the point of that? It's been established Godilla will face original monsters, people need to accept it. They're not gonna take the spotlight off of Godzilla's introductory movie with classic Toho monsters.
We're looking at kids toys for Mutos, they're not going to be as accurate as their film counterparts. They won't be the exact same color like their on screen appearence. The Muto diving into the water was grey due to the area, everything was greyish. Lighting effects. Hell, they could just be grey in color, and once agitated or whatever they start to glow when near prey/Godzilla. These twos are the male and female Muto. That's it.
Why the hell would Rodan even dive into the water anyways? If he were falling it wouldn't look as intentional. The creature clearly dove into the water. Rodan does not swim.
As for the mating thing, lol.

Judging by the tag underneath, it doesn't look like walmart, possibly a k-mart or some other big retailer.
Wow, I didn't realize I have done that twice now.
Ok, first, the toys never look like the movie, only the basic, nothing too detailed. Those are bith pictures of the MUTOs. The top is the flying one diving into the ocean and the "claw" in the new trailer is one of the two's appendages. If you look at the toys, they have those hooked appendages on their limbs. Their children's toys, so they won't look exactly like the movie, they are WAY less detailed.
I have preordered it too :D I mean concept art,illustration,interviews and a Poster!!! Thats just awesome!

Already preordered it and iffy about awakenings. I'm a bit of an art snob so regardless of story if the art sucks I'll pass so I just have to wait for a sample from the book.

Thanks for making me laugh.
There is a good chance the toys colors aren't accurate, or that Muto is able to change its colors. its too early to even start spouting theories about mating Godzillas and stuff like that, but amusing read either way.

hey man i know what your saying is true but i have ordered things there from the past and had no major issues with the owner or anythng but yeah ebay is better and so is amazon, monsterislandtoys as of yet has not let me down and so far have treated me with respect and being nice. also if i ordered something and hadn't recieved it yet the owner actually contacts me saying hey its on back order and should be to you within a week. and yes it was no longer than that.
ummm... lets just wait a bit longer to see what really goes down that is 100% proof of everything like the godzilla awakening graphic novel i am sure it has a lot more details than anything that we really dont know of :)
^PROPTIP: Don't buy anything from monsterislandtoys. Overpriced. Bad Service. Long shipping times. Owner made some threats to a customer, I have transcripts. Just letting you know. I myself bought 1 dvd from there that took 1 month to finally get to me. Tried to communicate with the owner, he's very unprofessional. Ebay is more trustworthy then monsterislandtoys I will say.

yeah i remember dark horses godzilla #16 that was also the last comic for the series i believe and yeah that was a space monster but still cool looking though if you ask me :) i really wish that toho would have gotten permission from art adams to use some of his famous creations like bagorah and that space monster those two were really cool :)
