sooo are the first destruction pack muto and this one the same? just with wings?

@Daikaiju_Danielle, actually I think that the other IS the eight-legged Muto.  If you look at the arms on this one, they're significantly bigger because of the hidden wings.  I think they both look the same just one can fly and the other can't.  As for size differentials, I can't comment, but I did notice that difference in the two.

Oh yeah! I want to buy the Chibis they are awesome! :DDD But wait... when both MUTOs are blck and red.... what are the white "claws" in the train scene!?

Well obviously its...Um...Oh darn...

So the description coming from the guy whom looked these in the TOy Fair was very missleading, because it does not look like a moth nor having GIgan features to me. It looks to have the same anatomy like the walkign MUTO, only that 2 of its limbs become pterosaur like wings (at least I think that its shape, due here they look bended when the vampire bats are walking on the ground, like some pterosaurus representations)

The chibi figures look funny, specially GOdzilla, he looks like from the old Dinosaur sitcom, you know the SInclaer family.

By the way, any reference for TOywiz.com???? I would like to preorder some figures, but I only found divergent opinions about the site so it is quite unclear to me if it is safe; and ever since I live outside US and the shipping rates are high, I do not want to risk my money.

The wings look like arms. But it is a small toy so there won't be much detail. Either way that  looks pretty awesome.

So last muto figure we saw was the flying muto the whole time.

@Kaijew...LOL, no, that is the eight-legged, look at the orientation of the arms of this new one.  It has a large wing-like membrane stretched across it and that second set of arms is MUCH larger than that of the previous MUTO.

Look at my reveal post and you shall see the light. Both the MUTOs shown are the male/female MUTOs leaked months ago, the monster that bites into train, dives into water, and is shown (wing edge and claw) downing a helicopter is gray in color, totally uncharacteristic of what is show in the MUTO toy colors. Cough - cough...Rodan..  Finally, and you heard it here first, in the HALO jump scene, there are a pair of Godzillas mating. Remember, its been revealed he is a male. And THATS a wrap!   

ZillaHater....we are not done with that.  Trust me...  :-D

I have to disagree, I mean I strongly believe this and the previous muto are the same animal because the way in which the wings could easily be concealed in the creatures arms. This does however mean, if true, that there will most likely be more kinds of muto.

@Garyzilla, this might just be me, but that sounds really stupid...like King Kong Lives stupid.

@Garyzilla, I'm not saying it in a rude way, I'm voicing my opinion.  I think that the two Godzilla's mating does not make the plot "400% more awesome" I don't think that makes it awesome at all, the thought of two Godzilla's mating is a little awkward.

I certainly hope the mating stuff is a joke. I can take Rodan being in the film, but i cannot take that idea. I know, opinions and so, but just seems really lame and as i see it, it ruins the character for me. There should only be one walking natural disaster.

Godzillasaurus.. Not sure where that "reveal" post went. Maybe Mods did something with it or it has to be approved? I've seen/had some posts not even posted if there is already a similar thread posted. Seeing I posted only a few minutes after Mecha-Gojira originally posted the new flying muto pic, I see no reason why my discussion should not have been posted. Anyway, it was just what I believed this new toy pic reveals and what I made of some recent info regarding a leaked script and comments made during the recent 20-minute showing.

if these two monsters are a: male and female of the same species, or b: one is more advanced than the other but they are still the same species, well then does it count as only one of the two monsters, because that would mean the mutos are a "type" of monster. in that case, the second monster could be something totally different, and it could be what everyone at the 2o min preview was so excited about.

To all regarding my post. I also would hope it's not a mating scene, that really would be TMI. But, they stress he is a male. And something crazy is happening at the HALO jump sequence. There's a vid on Youtube of some dudes accross the pond that note they were there at the 20-minute veiwing and they made an off-hand comment (with a smile on their faces) that how could they do that to us, indicating you didnt see that one coming. So...insert your theory here__________________.
